I'm A Secret, Who Are You?

I am a Secret, who are you?

Hidden behind a curtain - Far from view

Playing life like a Game – people's hearts to

A Sociopath with no true self, still reveals a final product

Trying to think of stories and a life made up

Never once Real, but Twice Fake

Everything I do and say mean Nothing

I just Play – that simple Game of give or Take

A Sun that shines - Rainbows that Glow

Exposing the people in the Shadows

The light Frightens a secret

Simply because they can't keep it

Light Enjoys the worlds Company

As I feel the Burden – times three

So if I am a Secret – What does that make You?

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey guys so I hope you all enjoyed this poem, it was inspired by Emily Dickinson's "I'm Nobody, Who Are You" poem. Thanks so much for taking the time to read it. Love you all <3
