Gene's pov
I emptied the clip into the undead dragging itself towards me until it froze, fading into air. With a huff; I quickly spin 360 degrees. A few more zombies stumbled towards me. I'm surprised there isn't more on me.
"Gene!! Help!" I hear my little blue haired brother shout, panic clear in his voice. Gunning down the enemies near me; I rush to where Dante was. Dodging a few swings from the zombies. I stumble slightly panting as I neared the building. Damn my stamina doesn't last long! I should of picked up that soda!
"Gene!!" My little brother shouts again, it's sounds to be straight in my ear. I wince slightly, looking away to glare at him with a grunt of annoyance. Zombies surrounded me once they were finished with Dante, they downed me so quickly that once I turned back the screen was displaying the game over screen, followed up with ominous music and how many rounds we survived.
"Awe man!" Dante whines in my ear, "I can't believe you let me die!" My blue hair brother cried out. I growl slightly under my breath. Giving him my best, 'I told you so face' I simple state " I told ya, you should of waited til the end of the round to get speed cola"
A small consent of heat and hatful staring started up after my words. Dante wore a pout and all; it didn't last long at all. Two seconds, max. There was no point in getting made with each other over a game, especially since it isn't Marino party. Laughing to myself, I climb back onto the couch, controller in hand. Smile as sweetly as I can muster, I ask with a hind of amusement in my voice.
"Again?"
Dante smiled brightly, climbing next to me with his own controller in hand. Seemed to forget that he was mad in the first place. He starts the game again and we sit and play as many rounds as we can survive. Enjoying each other's company.
