Ever since mom got hospitalized there was never a day that I never told her that I loved her and that I was sorry.

Every single day up to her last…

Up until God decided that it was her time.

Mom was in the hospital for over a month.

She fought her cancer but still no medicine in the world would let her stay… and be with me.

But like I said before, life is unfair.

People come and go even the ones that are close to your heart.

I knew that she'd only have weeks left, the doctor told me that countless of times, but it doesn't stop you from believing that there's still achance that mom would be okay.

But I was wrong.

She passed away.

I don't have a mother anymore.

I lost my guardian angel.

Did I cry?

Of course.

I was holding her hand one night then she woke me up.

"Yuri, why don't we pray?" She said.

Dexter wasn't there because only one person can stay over the night.

And mom and I prayed softly.

After praying I told her that I loved her.

"I love you more than my own life, honey." She replied a tears falling from her eyes. I wiped them slowy and kissed her cheek.

She fell asleep again.

The next morning before any of my friends arrived…she was gone.

No more mommy.

She's now only a memory that I'll cherish and love.

I'm an orphan.

No dad.

No mom.

How lucky can I get?

If I have children someday they wouldn't know who there grandparents are.

Mom won't be a grandmother anymore.

There were still a lot of things that were left undone for us.

The funeral was simple.

Very simple for a CEO.

Everyone looked at mom's coffin but I …I just can't.
