The Perfect Morning

Trixie pov
I woke up feeling like it would be a bad day, I just had a gut feeling. As soon as I went downstairs I looked outside to see black clouds and lightning. God, I hated lightning. Eli came down to the top of the stairs, shirtless. I hoped he didn't notice I was blushing.
" the thunder woke me up" he said. " I don't think I'll be able to go back to sleep, can I hang down here with you?"
I'm usually the first one up so I could get a head start on the day.
" ya sure" I replied secretly hoping he forgot he wasn't wearing a shirt.
He walked down the stairs and sat down on the couch.
" don't leave me alone!" He said, gesturing for me to sit next to him.
I walked over and sat down. He turned on the TV and discreetly put his arm around me. I glanced up at him and saw he was blushing. I rested my head on his shoulder.
" I love you Trixie" he said
" I love you too" I replied.
As I looked up at him I knew that I would always love him no matter what.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
