He ran his fingers over the silky red curtains, completely mesmerized by the rippling pattern of the beautiful new curtains hanging in his room.
"I love you", he whispered to the curtains. They seemed to nod in response by rippling in the slight breeze from the open window. "Andrew! Dinner!" his mom hollered from downstairs. "Coming!!" He yelled back as he closed the windows and wrapped the curtains in a velvet ribbon. He kissed his fingers and pointed in the direction of the curtains with the invisible kiss. He was terribly in love. And the worst part was that his love was for a set of curtains.
