Elsa POV

I sat on the ground, my back pressed against the thick wooden door. "Elsa?" A soft whimper came through the locked door. "Please, I know you're in there. People are asking where you've been. They say have courage, and I'm trying to. I'm right out here for you, just let me in." the voice wavered, trying to hold in the tears. I could picture it all in my head. My little sister with her back also against the door, holding herself. Her big eyes filled with tears, tears that were threatening to fall. "We only have each other, it's just you and me. What are we going to do?" She paused, the tears were probably falling down her cheeks by now. "Do you wanna build a snowman?"

She sounded so broken, so lost. I rest my head on my drawn up knees, burying my face in my gloved hands. Tears streaked down my cheeks, getting colder by the second. A soft sob escaped both mine and Anna's lips, blending together through the door. There was soft shuffling in the hall, then Anna left me alone.

My window flung open, a figure appeared. A sudden chill ran through my spine, making me look up. A pair of grey blue eyes stared back at me, studying my tear stained face.

I jumped up, stepping forwards. The boy had shaggy hair that had a tint of grey to it, his skin was pale, he looked a couple of years older than me. "Who are you?" I gasped out finally. My voice was hoarse and cracked, probably from the lack of human contact I've had for all these years.

The boy didn't say anything. He jumped off my window sill, landing on my floor. A thick frost was left from where he stood, the ice was spreading across the walls. "You can see me?" he breathed out.

"What?" I was so confused. "What do you want?" He moved closer to me, making me back up. With every step I took back, he'd take a step closer. I hit the door, making my eyes widen. He moved closer and closer to me, now only a foot away. My chest tightened, I found it hard to breathe.

This was exactly what was going to happen to me if anyone found out about me. I fell to the ground, staring up at him nervously. He moved closer to me, bending down to meet my stare.

"Get away from me, I'm dangerous." I whispered whilst letting my gaze fall to the ground. Cold hands touched my cheek, making me look up. His face was inches from mine, his lips looked so soft from up close. Though I had been locked up in my room for years now, I still had longed to find my soul mate. The soul mate who'd accept me for who I was, not what my social status was. Maybe this boy could- I felt my right glove being tugged off, snapping me back into reality. "Don't touch me." A large gust of snow threw him off of me, slamming him against the wall. Thick snowflakes fell from the ceiling, quickly making my room white.

A loud crackling sound echoed through the room. The snowflakes froze, stilling in mid air. "You're just like me." the boy finally spoke again. I stared at him.

I froze, "What?" I choked out.

"Jack, Jack Frost." he smiled at me. I turned, attempting to hide my blush from him. He kissed the back of my hand, sending shocks down my body.

I bit my bottom lip nervously, something that I had picked up a long time ago. "Elsa." I smiled back. I had just met this boy, why and how was he making me feel like this? Butterflies fluttered in my stomach, I had a sudden urge to either giggle at everything he said, or blush furiously whenever he barely glanced at me. This was what I had longed for, the typical way of how a girl feels when she has a crush. Too bad I felt this way for a random stranger, a stranger who was just like me.

"So, how long have you had your powers?" he asked whilst laying on my bed with his arms tucked behind his head.

I shrugged. "Not sure, I just remember being locked up in here after a bad incident as a child." Right then, I could see everything again. Anna waking me up when we were kids, wanting to play. We built a snowman in the huge ballroom, the ballroom that I'd be crowned in. I created heaps of snow, giggling with Anna as she slid down from the top. She began to move faster and faster, leaping from pile to pile. I began to pant, finding it harder and harder to keep up with her. 'Anna, slow down.' I shouted to her. 'Catch me.' she giggled whilst jumping off of the newest pile. She hurtled to the ground, oblivious to what would happen if I never caught her. Everything happened in slow motion. Fear filled my system, causing ice to shoot out of my hand. It hit her in the head, knocking her onto a pile of snow. She rolled down, face down in the cold snow. I ran over, dropping down next to her. With her head in my lap, I noticed a white streak run down her strawberry red hair.
