The war had led to the death of the sun, but though human beings survived. The resin for this is that when the war begun, every government had a thought that they must save as much human resources as possible. So when the conflict was going on
(see the first chapter) every government had constructed and under ground city, which could hold upto 30 crore people at once. In countries like India, China, USA, UK ect had these types of under ground citise almost over all parts of the nation. This prevented a huge life loss.
