"Light-kun! Light-kun!" Misa Amane shouted while rushing downstairs. "Light-kun! Look at my new dress! I bought this yester---"

"That looks good on you, Amane-san." Ryuzaki said while crouching on the red sofa, eating a strawberry shortcake.

"Hahaha! Very funny Ryuzaki! Misa doesn't need your compliment, okay?! Hmmm, by the way, where's Light?! Misa doesn't see him around." Misa wondered.

"Light-kun? AAAAAmmm...ump!!!" Ryuzaki swallowed a spoonful of shortcake. "Light-kun left a while ago with the Kira Investigation Team.."

"Why?"

"Saa, who knows.. yum yum.." Ryuzaki munched.

"Gah!!! Ryuzaki! How come you don't know?! Please tell Misa!" she screamed.

"I really don't know... But Light-kun left a message for you." Ryuzaki said.

Misa jumped onto Ryuzaki.

"Nani, nani?! What's the message?! Misa's excited!!" Misa blushed.

"He said that you two will have a dinner date at the coffee shop tonight.. Hmmm, coffee date.. Coffee daaate!" Ryuzaki explained.

"DATE~?!! Kyaaa!!!Misa is so happy~ Ureshii~!"

"Nice angle..." Ryuzaki said in a low voice.

"Nice angle???" Misa repeated.

"Forget it..." he said and blushed.

Misa noticed that Ryuzaki is staring at her.

"PERVERT!!!" she shouted and leaped from the sofa where Ryuzaki crouched. "Misa hates perverts and Misa only loves Light!"

"Gomen nasai. I just couldn't help it. You really look good today, Amane-san." Ryuzaki clarified and gave a thumbs up.

"Ugh! Shut up!!! Urusai! Urusai! Urusai! How can I trust a weird person like you?! I hope Light is here to protect me from perverts!" Misa cried.

"Mou ii desu. Fine. Fine. I'm a pervert or whatsoever. I think my only friend in this world is cake-san. Ah, there's also chocolate-san. Gotta eat a chocolate." Ryuzaki murmured while getting a chocolate from the fridge.

"Whatever Ryuzaki! Go drown yourself in chocolate! I don't care! Misa ain't gonna talk to you anymore! Be-da~!" Misa said while covering her ears.

Ryuzaki dropped the box of chocolates.

"Ugh~ what's this feeling?!! OHO! OHO!" he coughed.

"Hahahaha! What now, Ryuzaki?!" Misa laughed.

Ryuzaki broke in silence and collapsed.

"Eh?! Ryuzaki?! What's wrong?! Daijoubu?!" Misa asked.

"Amane-san... he... help..." Ryuzaki said in a weak voice.

"Tsk tsk tsk." Misa gritted her teeth.

"A..MA..NE... SAN.."

"A joke from the best detective, huh! Oh come on! You're a very good joker! Very funny! Misa is amused!" she continued laughing. "You look stupid, Ryuzaki!"

"I'm not joki---- uh..."

"Ryuzaki?! Ryuzaki!!! What's wrong?! Hey!!! Ryuzaki!" Misa rushed and shook Ryuzaki. "It's not funny anymore! Ryuzaki!!! Are?! He's not moving!"

"A... ma... ne... san... I think chocolates hate me as well... In the end, I'm alone..." Ryuzaki whispered in an emotional way.

"No! Chigau yo! You're wrong! We're here! Light-kun and the whole team. And Misa is your friend too! Please don't die Ryuzaki!" Misa's voice is shaking.

"NOOO! Get a hold of yourself! Light-kun and others will be here soon! Nooo!" Misa cried.

"Just kidding." Ryuzaki smiled.

"Eh?" Misa wondered.

"Don't cry Amane-san. I was just JOKING." Ryuzaki repeated.

"WHAT! Joking?!" Misa raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. My acting skill is 99% perfect I guess." Ryuzaki added.

"Ah, really?!" Misa faked a grin.

"So, you're my friend after all, Amane-san. I thought you only care for Light, but I was wrong."

"Me? Your friend? Yes of course. But because of what you just did, you'll lose a friend!!! I hate you! Die Ryuzaki, DIE!" Misa said furiously and walked out.

"Eh?" Ryuzaki rubbed the back of his head.
