I was born last out of us three. It took nine hours for my mom to get through labor. He could never stop telling the story of how I was clinging to my brothers immediately after I was born, that we looked so precious. My dad said I did it because I was cold, while my mother said I did it because I loved my brothers so much. I believe that I did it for the comfort if a human being, because it took so long for the damned nurses to get to me and wrap me in a blanket to give me to my mother. I was born with white hair, while my brothers both had black like my father. As we were growing up, we were inseparable, always playing together and riding through the forest on our fathers back. It was perfect for a full four years, fifty-two weeks, and three days. Then we turned five.
