Chapter 1-Ireland

Alexa's POV

"I can't believe we're gonna live together in Ireland! I'll get us a great flat. I can't wait till you come up!" I say to my best friend, Haley, over the phone while staring at my packed bags and all my crap. "I know right!" She practically yells into the phone. She thinks we'll end up meeting our favorite band, One Direction, because Niall Horan lives there. Honestly, neither of us have lost hope. "Bye, love you!" She chirps. "Later, loser!" I joke back. She chuckles through my phone at my weirdness. I hang up and toss my phone onto my bed. I turn my radio on. I don't know why but I

can't sleep without it on. I jump into my comfy bed and turn my light off. I slowly fall asleep thinking about my long flight tomorrow early in the morning.

*Next Morning*

My alarm goes off and I jump at the sound. 3:00am is WAY to early to get up! The good news is that I get to leave for Ireland in two hours! Yay!! I collect my things and throw on a tee and sweats, nothing fancy, and walk out the door. My friend, Maddie, is going to drive me so she should be here within a matter of minutes. I stand there and wait, the chilly midnight breeze hitting my arms. She pulls up in her ford truck. We are so Southern it's not even funny. I throw my stuff in the back seat and jump in the front. She's so tired she doesn't talk. We all know how Maddie likes her sleep. It takes about an hour to get there and an hour to get through check in, security, and loads of people. We get to the airport and she helps me out. "Thank you so much girly. I don't know what I would do without you and Haley." I say to Maddie as she helps check me in. "No problem. I'm always here for you," she replies with a goofy face. Ladies and gentleman, Maddie! We get through security and go to my boarding spot. "Omg...I'm going to miss you so much." I tell her giving her a hug. "Well, that's not going to last long. I'm coming up with Haley and moving in with y'all." (A/N I have a southern accent because I'm from Texas and I'll throw in a few words like that. Just remember Haley, Alexa, and Maddie are from Texas.) She says while I have a huge grin on my face. "Yay!! I can't believe I'm moving to Ireland, much less with my two best friends in the whole world!" I start jumping up and down. People around me give me funny looks, but I really don't care. I'm so excited!! "Flight 139 boarding now." I hear a woman's voice over the intercom. "See you next week!" We say at the same time resulting to us bursting out into a fit of giggles. "Love ya, you dork!" I yell with my fist in the air and walk through the terminal with my green backpack on my back. I look back and see Maddie laughing. I find my seat and sit down by the window. I put my earbuds in and lean back in my seat. Within a few minutes I fall asleep thinking about how amazing this experience will be.
