"Man I'm hungry.", I whine to Aran as we strolled down the large main street. "Quit your whining. We're almost at the bridge. relax." "But I'm hungryyyy" "Can it! We'll grab some barbecue on the way." "Yasssss!!!!", I hissed in happiness. "You're always hungry.", she laughed. "Well I cant help it. We're both bottomless pits and you want some too.", I pointed out. "True."

We finally make it to the bridge, and this time, we made it before Kakashi, only to hear Sakura complaining about not having enough time to blow dry her hair, and Naruto adding that he couldn't brush his teeth or change his underwear, making Aran throw a kunai into the back of his head. "Gross.", she said, irritated.
"Oh, Taiga, Aran, you're actually early. Any clue where our Sensei is?", asked Sakura. I shrug my shoulders. I feel a rather annoying stare in my back. "Sasuke I know you're low-key staring at me so stop or you'll end up like Naruto here.", I pointed at the overdramatic blondey with a knife sticking from his head.
Sweat ran down his face, causing me to smirk. "Why you so mean to him Taiga??" "When am I not mean to anyone???", Aran gave me her creepy perv grin. "What about Kiba~?", my face grew hot. "EEhhhheehhhh....shut up.", she just laughed at me.
Finally came Kakashi. "Hello everyone! Sorry I'm late, I got lost on the path of life.", Naruto and Sakura scream at him, "You liar!!", He jumps down from the pillar he was on. "I know this is kind of sudden, and Aran and Taiga already know about this, but I recommended all of you to partake in the Chunin exams. These are the application forms.", he handed the other three their registration forms.
"Application forms?" "You're repeating me Sakura. Now this is all voluntary. Its up to each of you. If you don't feel ready, you can wait till next year.", Naruto began celebrating and hugged Kakashi, "Hey don't slobber on my vest."
"Gross.", me and Aran said in sync. "Whoever wants to take the exam, sign the applications and come to room 301 at the academy. Its at 3 PM, five days from now. That's it." Naruto was extremely happy.

As the team walked to our homes, Naruto began babbling on about the exams. "Christ Naruto, chill.", I told him. Everybody except Sakura had a stern look on their face.

Thus, came ninja from all over the nation. "We're going to have a lot of competition Aran.", "Call me by my actual name when we're alone." "Mmmk. Cece. You think you're up for the challenge?", she contemplated for a moment. "I think so. From how you described what's going to happen, sounds pretty easy.", I sigh. "Its not going to be as easy as it sounds. And I know for sure its not as easy as it looks. from the anime.", We somehow ended up in a forest on our way home.
"That's strange..", I mutter to Cece, who nods knowingly. "We never go through the woods, right?"
"Not that I know of.", I look around suspiciously, sensing a presence. Then, " ARAN GET DOWN!", we both ducked several kunai knives being thrown at our heads. "THAA FUCC?!", we said at the same time. We searched for their sources rapidly, but found nothing. Hiding ourselves in the nearby bushes. I could feel my eyes change to their other color as I activate my kekkai genkai and release my tail and ears.
Cece, I can hear movement, 11:00.
Roger.
She concentrated her chakra towards the direction and shot it rapidly head first. I heard a low grunt and more movement.
1:00, 5 meter high.
I instruct her on where to shoot. Soon enough, a woman with dark brown hair and a mask falls from a tree bleeding from her side, collarbone, and shoulders. She huffed in pain, but was still able to fight.
She ran quickly at me. I tried attacking only to have her disappear. I finally put the pieces together. "Aran! We're in a genjutsu!", I yell at her. "Release!", we did the jutsu for release and eventually the forest disappeared and changed into a concrete alleyway. The girl who was attacking us sat against the fence cradling her wounds. "Who are you and why did you attack us?", I question her. She then changed her appearance to reveal Kuranai, team 8's jounin and leader. "Mrs.Kurunai! I'm sorry. Why were you fighting us?"
"It was an extra test for the rookie shinobi for the chunin exams. And I say you girls pass.", she coughed up a bit of blood. "Kuranai-Sensei!" "Ill be fine girls. Well done."
Me and Aran eventually took her to the infirmary and got her healed up.
