"Mr Corera" Kimberly called out as soon as she reached her office but she didn't see him seated, she suddenly felt a hand go round her waist
"Did you keep me waiting intentionally?"
Miguel said in her ears causing chills to run through her
"I-i uhm I'm sorry" Kimberly said almost like a whisper
"You should be" Miguel said biting her earlobe causing Kimberly to bite her lower lips
"Did you dress up like this to entice me" Miguel asked stepping away from her.
"Why would I?" Kimberly said finally regaining her composure. She didn't even remember she was to meet up with him.
"Ready?"
Miguel said staring at her
"Ready" Kimberly said after picking up her clutch bag.
"Where are we heading to?" Kimberly asked after she got comfortable in his ride.
"My house, if you're not comfortable with it just say it"
Miguel said
"I'm okay" Kimberly said before bringing out her headset while the remaining ride was a quite one.
"So what's the deal about?" Kimberly asked after settling down in his sitting room.
"Be my fiancee" Miguel said going straight to the point which made Kimberly choke on her drink
"Are you nuts?, stop scaring me" Kimberly yelled after calming down
"I'm hundred percent serious here Kimberly, as you know am a businessman and I don't joke around" Miguel said seriously
"Why do you need a fake fiancee if I may ask?" Kimberly asked him
"Here's the actual plan, my mom wants me to get married and am not ready yet, so we pretend to be dating, then I ask you to marry me in the ball and you say yes" Miguel said bluntly
"That's deceit and I don't think I can do it" Kimberly said standing up
"Common Kimberly, its just a show" Miguel said also standing up
"A show that is meant to deceive people, and what makes you think I'm not yet engaged" Kimberly said
"Are you?" Miguel simply asked
"I'm not bu.....
"Are you in?, yes or no?" Miguel asked cutting her off
"Why me?" Kimberly asked looking at him
"Because i want you" Miguel said walking over to meet her
"Fine, but in exchange" Kimberly said
"What do you want in exchange" Miguel said wrapping his hands around her waist
"Stop it" Kimberly said trying to remove his hands
"We're dating now aren't we?" Miguel said pouting which made Kimberly laugh
"Did you just do that?" Kimberly asked still laughing
"Uhmn" Miguel said nodding his head
