"Sarah, wake up so we can go." He opened the blinds and the sun shines bright in my eyes. Like a bat, I shield myself from the light. I might turn into dust like Dracula. He pulls the sheets off me. "Fine, I'll get up. Give me 5 more minutes." I pull the sheets back and hide under them. I was having such a good dream. "It's 6:00am! You know our schedule. I can't leave you alone for the 3 hours I'm gone."
"School doesn't start till 8:30am. Take a break." I took the sheets away from my face. I looked into his eyes. They glistened in the sunlight. Even though there was very little showing, I could see his beautiful face glow. "Okay. You better be a good girl and dress a little nicer for school this time." I came in closer and he hugged me. "You know I can't."
We both smiled. "Love you Sarah, have a good day at school. Stay out of trouble." He kissed my forehead. Left the room. Closed the door. I went back to sleep.
"Sarah! Look out for the monster!" My mother yelled out to me. I hurry and grab my sword. I run away from the vicious beast and save my mother. "Mom I got you. You're safe with me." I look into my mother's eyes and they glistened in the sun. That's where he takes it from.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
"Ahhhhhhh!" my chest is hurting. My heart pounding like crazy, and my dream is over. Oh well, guess it's time to get dressed. If your wondering who the handsome boy in my room was, guess. It's pretty obvious who it might be. He looks out for me and a good caregiver.
I get out of bed and head to the bathroom. I walk inside and close the door. I don't usually keep the door open if I'm changing, even though there's no else here. I use the toilet, brush my teeth, wash up. Now time for clothes. Black shirt, Neon green choker, black and green nails, black sneakers(It's a Monday, no need for boots on), Black lipstick and eye shadow. Black skully cap that says F U All. A black skirt with green highlights. Baby blue bracelet.
It was my mother before she passed. She gave it to before her last breathe as if she knew she wasn't going to make it. Tears running form eyes down my checks. I miss my mother so much. At least she lived a happy life with just the 3 of us. Dad was never around so there was only one man in the house. Mother felt she had to play both parts. Thank God he was around.
30 more minutes left until school starts. I promised him I'll get there on time and stay out of trouble...He knows me too well, I'm me and I won't do it exactly. I always find loopholes to everything. I grab my Deadpool backpack and head out the door. There's a table sitting next to the door. My bag of lunch, a note, and a picture. A picture of the past. A picture I will always remember. All 3 of us. I was the baby, mom holding me with him. He looked so happy and proud he had little sister, like me.
My phone and 3 portable chargers with me in my pocket. My black boots are in my backpack just incase Jay tries anything funny.
I put my headphones on. My playlists are all downloaded. From sadness to hardcore rock. I arrive at school by 5 minutes to spare. I walk into the building and embrace the hell I live known as High School.
