Chapter 1 ~ An Old Friend

(Third person)

"Come on Froz-anova!!" A man with pink hair screamed. The Raven haired man looked to the fire mage.
"Why would I do that Pyro?" The mage said not looking the fire mage in the eyes.
"Come on Gray! We haven't had a decent fight in three days! I'm tired of being so board!" The pink haired boy said slumping his shoulders.
"Natsu! Can't you see Gray's morning?!" Said a blond.
"What do you mean Lucy?" The pink haired boy said.
"Can't you see? His eyes, there dull and faded. He won't stop making ice crowns! Natsu, Gray's morning from a friend or sister or brother's death!" The blond sat down in front of Gray.
"How'd you know?" Gray enquired looking the blond in the eyes.
"Gray I've had my fair share of deaths in my life." The blond too a hold of the Ice mages hand.
"(Y/n)..."
"What?" Lucy asked looking into the deep blue eyes of Gray Fullbuster.
"Her name was (Y/n)..." He looked to his left and saw Lyon walking over to him.
"You too?" He asked. Gray shook his head and Lyon sat next to him. "It's okay to miss someone you love Gray."
"But why her?!" A single tear slipped down Gray's face. "She had so much to live for!! She died because I was so stupid!!" The tears streamed down his face. "(Y/n) was a kind person! A loving person! She always saw the good in everyone! Why? Why did he take her away from me?!!" Gray pushed against the table and slid himself out of his seat. He ran out of the Guild. Gray continued running until he was at the beach. "(Y/n/n)!!!!" He screamed then fell to the sandy beach. "Why? Why?! Why?!!! Why (Y/n)?! Deliora!! You took everything away from me!! Ur, my mother, my father, my siblings! And..... (Y/n)!!" He pounded the sand until his fist bled. Today was the anniversary of (Y/n) (L/n)'s death. She had died protecting Gray when he was a little kid. "I wish it was me instead of you, (Y/n)!"

~ Flash back ~

"I'll beat Deliora! I'll show you, I'm strong!" Gray exclaimed.
"No Gray! Your to young!" Ur said as she cooked the meal for her adopted family.
"If you won't let me, I'll go without your permission!" Gray stopped out of the cabin.
"Gray!" (Y/n) exclaimed​ running after him.
"(Y/n)!!" Ur yelled after her but she was already gone. "Crap! Lyon! Get your things were going after Gray!"

"Stop following me (Y/n)!" Gray said as he walked.
"Nope! Can't do that!" She said as she bebop-ped along.
"Why not?!!" He exclaimed. He turned around and stared at her.
"My mom and dad said for me to follow my dreams." She skipped along passing the dumbfounded Gray.
Dreams? I'm her dream?! No way!!

*Skip to battle seen*

"(Y/n)! Get out of here!!!!" Gray exclaimed.
"I'm not leaving you!!! Not now!!! You'll die!!!" She screamed.
"If you don't go you'll die too!!!"
"Then I'll die!!! At least I know I'm dieing for he ones I love!!!" She ran off.
"(Y/n)!!!" Gray yelled after her.
"Hey!! Over here!! Yeah you!! Come and get me Deliora!!" She yelled and ran.
"(Y/n)-" Gray was cut off with someone holding his mouth.
Who is this?!
"If you distract her she'll die within seconds!! Now come on!!" Lyon said pulling Gray by the sleeve of his shirt.
"I'm not leaving (Y/n)!!" Gray pulled away from Lyon and ran after her. Gray ran and saw (Y/n) on a cliff. He ran up to where she was.
"(Y/n)!" Gray yelled to her.
She looked and Deliora grabbed her.
"Gray!! Help me!!" She screamed.
"(Y/n)!! Hold on!!" Gray grabbed her hand and pulled as hard as he could, but Deliora was too strong.
"Gray, let go!!" She looked into his blue eyes.
"No!! I'm not letting you go!!"
"That wasn't a request!! LET GO!!!"
"NO!!"
"Gray!! Look at me!! I'll be okay!! I promise!!" She pulled him into a hug and kissed him, then pushed him onto the ledge. She was being hoisted into the air. Deliora pulled her to his eyes so he could look at her.
"No!! (Y/N)!!!!!!!" Gray yelled reaching out to her.
Deliora held her in both hands, and...

SNAP!!!

Gray stopped dead in his tracks.

(Y/n)! No!! (Y/n)!!!!!

Deliora dropped the limp body of (Y/n) and continued on his rampage.

Gray ran to (Y/n)'s body. Please be alive! Please be alive!! Please, please, please be alive!!!

"(Y/n)?!!" Gray franticly looked for her. No! No! No! NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! NO!!!
Gray spotted something and ran to it.
"(Y/N)!!! No!!! (Y/n)!!!" She lay on the ground. Not breathing and not moving. "(Y/n)!! Please wake up!! This isn't funny!! (Y/n)!!" His tears fell like rain. Over and over again, the movie of (Y/n)'s death played in Gray's mind.

This can't be happening!

"This can't be happening!!" He said holding (Y/n)'s limp body. "I can't be losing you!!"

"Gray!!" Ur called out. She ran up to see Gray holding (Y/n) in his arms, crying. She knew this wasn't going to be easy. Ur senced that Deliora was comming back. She looked up and there it was. Deliora.
You monster! Ur walked up to Lyon and knocked him out.
"Ur what are you doing?!" Gray screamed he dropped (Y/n). Thankfully Lyon's body was there to catch her.
"I'm locking away your darkness." She took a stance. "Tell Lyon that I died in battle." And with that she cast a spell and her body became water and incased the monster.

~ End flash back ~

"Deliora! Why?!" He pounded the sand once more. He felt a hand on his shoulder, but when he turned he didn't expect to see what he saw....
