The outfit in the photo above is what Mimi usually wears for combat!

I bowed to lady Tsunade once she had finished prompting Ami and I.  Though I was promoted to Jounin about 6 months ago, I still chose to do missions with my teammates.  Kirou was busy doing research and Daikoku-Sensei was helping Iruka-sensei with teaching proper weapon use to the new Academy students.  The two of us made our way out, wanting to be ready to leave before lunch.  A rogue ninja from Sunagakure was located right outside Konoha and it was Ami and mines job to take him back to Suna.  I was honestly excited.  I had yet to visit Suna but I really wanted to.  We had just left the building when Ami gasped.  I looked in her direction and smiled.  Naruto was back!!  I rushed over and enveloped him in a hug.  "Oh damn it's you!!"
Naruto laughed as we stepped away.  "Yepp!  I'm back!"
I pouted slightly.  "Timing sucks though.  I'm heading out on a mission in like 2 hours and I gotta pack.  I would've loved to have Ramen with you to catch up!"
"Nahh it's ok!  We'll do it once you're back."
"Deal!"  We high fived as we passed by and I waved at Sakura.  I smiled and continued my way home.  I made my way into my room and walked to my closet.  I grabbed a small backpack and packed one outfit nearly exactly like the kimono I fought in (like the photo) incase this one got damaged, plus a more 'at home' outfit that was a simple black sundress and white thigh high socks.  I doubt I would need the sundress, but I like to be sure.  Next I placed 3 of my mom's small journals in, followed by a slightly larger book.  All contained information on poisons and antidotes my mom had encountered in her life.  I held one of the journals in my hand and gently ran my hand up and down the spine of it.  I was obsessed with this type of work, just like my mom was.  I tried to not think of her, but I couldn't help but feel like she is proud of me when I hold her journals.  I sighed softly and placed it with the others in the bag and looked around my room.  I didn't think I needed more.  I grabbed my fans from my top dresser drawer and stood in front of the full length mirror next to it.(look up "kitana's war fans" for a basic idea of her fans)  I inspected them both carefully before slipping each one into a discreet and specially made pocket on each side of my hips.  I swished back and forth, content that you couldn't see them and took a moment to look at myself.  I'm fairly pale, my silver hair had two small braids on each side of my head, all held up in a high pony tail with a deep blue ribbon.  I smoothed the bottom of my kimono and nodded to myself and grabbed my bag, walking into the kitchen.  I used the last of my time to make some onigiri for Ami and myself to eat for lunch and dinner tonight.  I grabbed some water bottles and placed them in my bag as well before closing it up and putting the pack on my back.  I adjusted everything one last time before leaving for the main gates.  I was met with a man from Anbu and Ami waiting for me.  I grabbed the chains attached to the man's handcuffs and thanked the anbu guy before starting our journey.  The man was quiet for about 2 hours before he spoke.  "So they expect me to be kept in line by you two?  Seems like they aren't taking me seriously."
I glanced to Ami.  She's a few inches taller than me but quite thin.  She's very skilled in taijutsu though, she even uses her Chakra to increase her strength and durability.  I'm pretty short, though like Tsunade very curvaceous.  I gave a sideways glance at the rogue.  "Surely the sand Shinobi trained you not to underestimate your enemy."
He grunted.  "How do you two plan on sleeping.  Do you really trust each other that well?"
Ami leaned forward and smiled sarcastically at the man.  "No worries!  Mimi here is a poison user!  She's got it covered!"
The man gave me a nervous look.  "Yes.  I have a poison that basically puts a person in a comatose like state.  It takes a week or two to kill you so administering it to you at night and the antidote in the morning Isn't going to kill you.  It may damage your body a little but I doubt the Kazekage is concerned about that."  I spoke in a monotone voice, but let a small smirk play at my lips when I finished.  The rogue ninja gulped but looked ahead again.

Time skip!  In Sunagakure~

I almost cried tears of joy at the sight of the walls of Suna.  I sped up a little, ready to get out of the desert.  We had no trouble getting there, but signs of a sand storm were coming and I wanted to finish transporting the rogue before it came.  There were two sand Shinobi waiting at the gates.  After a brief conversation verifying the others identity we traded the prisoner for a scroll we were to give the Kazekage.  Ami and I bowed before heading to meet the Kazekage.  After getting lost twice, we managed to make our way to the Kazekage office.  Ami knocked and we waited to be allowed in.  Once inside I noticed that there was someone else in too.  His face paint and clothing struck me as familiar, but I pushed it away as I bowed to the Kazekage.  "Lord Kazekage, we come to finish our mission from the leaf."  I hand the scroll to the Kazekage and allow my eyes to trail to the other man in the room as the Kazekage read.  I blushed slightly when we made eye contact and I looked back to the Kazekage as he was finishing up.  "I greatly appreciate your help.  I advise you stay for the night, as the sand storms can last a while and you could use the rest.  My brother Kankuro will take you to a hotel that we will be paid for as gratitude for your assistance."
I bowed deeply, "Thank you Lord Kazekage."
He waved his hand, "lord Gaara.  Now Kankuro, please take them to the hotel and help them if needed."
The man named Kankuro rolled his eyes but agreed.  Ami and I bowed again and followed Kankuro outside.  As he led us to our hotel he pointed out different restaurants that we could dine at.  We weren't walking long when a loud crash came from behind us.  We looked back to see a man in a black coat on a large fake bird in the air.  I gasped, "the Akatsuki."
