Thomas Elliott: Biologically 18 years old, but in reality, over 150 years old, Thomas Elliott was a soldier in the 56th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment during the Civil War, before he was killed on the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg. Through a strange Native American ritual however, his body was preserved, and he has been buried in a cave since 1863. He is eventually woken by a descendant of his.
In terms of personality, he’s very honourable and gentlemanly, embodying 19th century virtues. At the same time, he’s somewhat shy, but is not afraid to stand up for those close to him, and he is also incredibly snarky and sarcastic. As for appearance, he has bright blue eyes and dark hair, as well as what could be described as a boyish face.
Sarah Grayson:
Sarah is the all American head cheerleader that every little girl dreams of being. She's smart, loyal, fierce and takes what she wants. She's dating Matthew Greene and has been since sophomore year. She is on top of her world, with no intention of coming down.Mathew Greene:
Matthew is the king of George M. Dallas High. He is Captain of the football and basketball teams and has the hot head cheerleader girlfriend to back him. He can be mean and manipulative while acting like an angel around Sarah. His family is rich and he uses that to his advantage.Carter Redmond: A descendant of Thomas Elliott, Carter Redmond is also a 12th grade student at George M. Dallas High. Known as a bit of a nerd and a massive fan of all things fantasy (Game of Thrones, Lord of the RIngs, etc), Carter is somewhat of a minor outcast in school. His rather generic brown hair and eyes certainly don’t help matters. He has one close friend he can always count on: Rachel Pearson. The two have been friends for years, but Carter has developed a crush on her. As for his personality, he’s known for being extremely quick-witted, but is also very kind and friendly to everyone he comes across.
Rachel Pearson: Carter’s only real friend and major tomboy, Rachel Pearson is also a huge fan of sci-fi and fantasy, and is rarely seen without her trademark baseball cap. She’s known for her extreme levels of sarcasm, even exceeding Thomas. She also perfectly fits the stereotype of “fiery redhead”, being fiercely protective of Carter, who affectionately refers to her as “The girl on fire”. As she is a tomboy, she’s also very, very sporty, to the point where she can give many of the school’s male sports stars a run for their money. She also has a crush on Carter, but in the ultimate irony, is too shy to reveal it.
Mary Redmond: Tom’s sweetheart before he was drafted to fight, Mary Redmond Is the bridge that connects Tom to Carter. The night before Tom was drafted, the two shared a night of intense passion, which resulted in Mary being impregnated by accident. Tom promised to marry her at the war’s end. However, Tom’s death at Gettysburg sent her spiralling into a deep depression, something not even her newborn son could bring her out of. She never married as a result of the stigma of her being a single mother, dying lonely and broken-hearted in 1893.The memory of her haunts Tom after his awakening, so much so that he even hallucinates her for several nights.
