Frisk came down the stairs wearing dark blue skinny jeans and a black blouse. Her hair was curled beautifully, and coiled up nicely. Her bangs were bouncing, drawing the most attention. She had only a small amount of makeup on. She walked down the stairway with confidence, not yet noticing me yet, standing in the dim shadow at the bottom.

I let out a low whistle when she passed me, jumping slightly, surprised to have seen me so close. She blushed, obviously flustered from my previous praise. I chuckled softly and smirked, satisfied with her reaction. She scoffed and stomped away from me.

"When are we leaving?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"You know you don't have to come..." she murmured, seeming bothered by my presence.

"Thought you just needed support is all..." I said, rubbing the back of my neck. Hopefully she believes it...

Frisk looked at me with a disapproving glint in her eyes. "I don't need your support..." she whispered a bit to harshly. She immediately regretted it, noticing how I flinched as she said it.

Frisk didn't mention me coming with her after that, only questioning her actions afterwards.

"So who ya meeting with anyway?" I asked scratching the back of my skull.

"His name is Marshall Stinson and no, it's not a date." She declared slipping her shoes on, That got my attention. "Never said it was, Doll..." I said trying to keep a straight face.

Now I have to go. I can't have Frisk getting a boyfriend. I just got her back! Hate to admit it but I missed her. A lot.

Her face turned pink. "I-I know! Just didn't want you to ask..." She mumbled grabbing the car keys. We left the house and started driving to a fancy restaurant called Antonio's.

Such an original name...

The car ride to the restaurant was silent. I looked out the window, watching the blur of trees and buildings and an occasional person walking on a sidewalk. The late afternoon sun was just setting, giving the area a more captivating appeal. Something that you could remember....

We pulled into a parking space and Frisk turned the car off. Frisk looked serious, her eyes furrowed in concentration.

"G, We are going to discuss equality and precautions that need to be made. Please don't speak unless you're spoken to directly." I opened my mouth to object but her head snapped in my direction. "Please don't do anything embarrassing!" She begged. I nodded.

She warned me once more as I opened the door for her.

"Yeah, yeah, okay Sweetheart" I say impatiently as we walked in. A waitress showed us to the table where a thin man with black hair sat. He wore a suit.

Oh so professional... I thought sarcastically. I already don't like this guy. He looks shady.

Marshall stood up when Frisk and I approached the table (that already had glasses of water, might I add). He smiled and hugged her like they were great friends and was awfully close to her. It made me cringe.

He shouldn't be that close to her!

"Ms. Dreemur it's a pleasure to meet you." He greeted "You look beautiful." He said cocking an eye brow and kissed her hand. Frisk involuntarily blushed, and look down at her lap shyly. I glared at the man that dared to talk to her that way.

He went to pull out a chair for her when I noticed it was a table for only two.

Great.

I ended up pulling up a chair and sat in between the two. Rather awkwardly I might add. I half expected people to mind their own business, but no, a monster sitting with two humans. What a sight to see!

I can hear all the mumbling, I have ears! Well... Maybe not ears but I can still hear. I gave frisk a look that said, 'Im about to speak without being spoken to.'

She got the message almost immediately and shook her head. Her eyes were glaring daggers at me, basically saying, 'Don't you dare...'

The Marshal guy seemed to understand the silent argument Frisk and I were having. From the flirtatious looks he was giving her, I could tell this guy was trouble.

"Ahem!" He interrupted us. "Should we begin?" He asked.

Frisk sat up straighter and faced him. "Y-Yeah!" She replied, a bit flustered.

"I don't think the 'monsters' should stay." He said sternly. "They are nothing but trouble and are not....things to be delt with nicely."

He does know I'm right here, right?

Frisk looked unsure. She wasn't actually considering getting rid of us right? Frisk wouldn't do that...would she?

Of course she wouldn't!

"They have done some good to the communities." Frisk replies after some moments of thought. They've created small businesses and have done some decent volunteer work. I've been keeping track." She chuckled a bit. "Not all of them are good, I'll admit that. But humans are the same way don't you think?"

I silently laugh at her reply. She makes everyone seem equal, but in reality everything is out of order.

Humans don't exactly welcome us with open arms. We're tested to meet stupid codes and our magic is not allowed anymore. All because of humans. And 'Marshal'.

"I beg to differ Ms. Dr-"

"Hi! I'll be your waitress for this evening. Are you ready to order?" A tall brunette greeted us.

"A few more minutes ..." Marshal says rather rudely to the waitress.

"Actually!" I interrupt. All eyes were on me, probably waiting for me to fuck up. "I am starving!" I say, all to dramatically.

The waitress perks up and takes out her pen and paper to write down my excessively long order.

"WHYDIDYOUDOTHAT! YOUKNOWTHISISIMPORTANTTOME!" Frisk yells to quickly to understand.

"You should probably calm down." I say, my voice leveled.

"I AM CALM!" Frisk yells

"You're causing a scene Sweetheart." I smirk, proudly.

She looks around at the mass of people staring at her. She looks down, her curly hair covering her red cheeks. Cute...

"You're not even eating the food!" She questions.

I nodded. "He's the one paying right?"

She mumbles a string of curses and turns to the men's restroom. "He should be back by now." She whispered to herself.

"You worried about him or something?!" I asked, irrationally.

"I wouldn't be if a certain someone didn't spill wine all over him!"

I grin innocently. "Oops."
