"sooo... How was the first day of high school, sweetie?" Till cautiously asked his daughter.
"just like I expected, boring, stupid and noisy" Emma said from across the room while casually strumming on Paul's guitar.
"give me my guitar back, Emma. I got work to do" Paul said a little annoyed.
"no you don't, you were just talking to uncle schnei" Emma said with a more annoyed tone and played the band's latest riff. She's been playing the guitar since she was 2. Richard started teaching her when he was to bored to do anything else on their tour bus also he wanted her God daughter to be a guitarist, as it turned out, she was very talented, the problem was the guitar was too big for a 2 year old but it just made them laugh, the sight of her strumming with her little fingers was the cutest thing, couple years after that Schneider taught her drums, he used to sit her in his lap behind his drum kit and she played while Chris did the foot work, Paul loved taking photos of her like that.
Back to today at rammstein's studio. Paul rolled his eyes at Emma and said "yeah, about work" Emma stopped playing and heavily sighed before she gave Paul his guitar back. "come on baby don't be like this, give it some time, you'll love it once you find some friends" till said while knowing it was bullshit, he knew his kid better than that, she was good at everything but her socializing skills were for shit, she's never had any friends, to this day he knew that the 6 of them were the only people that Emma could communicate with without choking on her own words. Emma stared at her dad with deep blue stare and said "they're stupid and dumb and I don't even know why you sent my to a damn high school, I was doing fine with home schooling and I already know everything those dumb asses want to teach me"
"baby you know you need to socialize, you need friends" till said with kind eyes. "I already have friends" Emma said looking at Ollie and Paul. "baby they're not your age, come on you know I'm right. Reesh tell her" he looked at Reesh for help. "you're on your own, you already know how I feel about this" Richard said quietly and kept checking his gear. Emma smiled at him and said "I'm gonna go skating in the yard, Ollie you commin?" and looked at Ollie with hope. "yeah let's head out" Ollie jumped up and left with her. Those 2 were inseparable, after all Ollie was the one who taught her skateboarding and lots of sweet parkor moves.
Till waited until they left the room and then turned to Richard and said with a pissy tone "why the fuck do you always defend her like that? You know she needs to communicate with other people" Richard hooked the wire to his Guitar while saying almost angrily "you want her to communicate with a society that she's never been in, you can't just make her jump in there for the first time in 15 years. that's not how this works till, she's suffering, you know how sensitive she is." then he lit up a cigarette and looked at till. Till knew in a way Richard was right but what was he supposed to do?
"I think both of you are overreacting, give her some time to deal, she's tough, I think she'll manage." Schneider said wisely. "and Reesh I know how much you love her, we all do but you're kinda spoiling her"
"she's my kid what else am I going to do" Richard answered quietly. "she's not your kid" flake said with his blunt honesty. "say it again and get your skinny ass kicked" Richard almost yelled. "hey no need to yell, she is your kid. There's no doubt, Flake didn't mean it like that." Till said calmly. Richard didn't say anything else and just kept smoking. The minute Emma was born, till asked Richard to be her God father, they were always best friends and they've been through so much together so it only seemed right. But they didn't realize they had to raise her on their own until 2 hours after Emma was born and her mother fleed the hospital and left no trace whatsoever, at that time till's relationships with his parents was quite bad and distant so he couldn't leave his baby with them, he faced a big choice, they'd just released their first album as rammstein and it became a big hit. He knew he had to talk to his friends about it, letting them know that he was gonna have to become a full time dad and say goodbye to the music world. But little did he know that their friendships were a lot more stronger than that.
