Earth has always been a role model of what not to do. Jovians stay close connect with the people of their moons and the people of their planet. It wasn't until my great-great grandmother left Jupiter to be the first to visit these humans. She came back with all kinds of Intel hundreds of years later.

My grandmother was the one who started sleeping with the humans. And so did my mother. So I am half human, half Jovian.

Our planets are not the same. We do walk yet we function differently. When Jovians are born, they are born with a gift. Mine was being able to see the future, near or far. I have yet to learn to control it.

At the age of 800, you are sent to camp where you learn to develop abilities. Whether that is shape-shifting, telepathy. I can read minds, go through walls, shape-shift into a full human.

Yet, my eyes had to be frozen when I was 900 years old. My eyes could not withstand Jupiter so I had to have them frozen. It was painful but now I can see better than I ever could before.

I wear the symbol the Jovians and a white suit to represent my purity. And my mother used to smile every time she saw me in it.

"Beautiful," She would remind me constantly and then I would return her smile and say, "Thank you, Mommy,"

I can even remember the last time I saw her.

She told me, commanded me is more like it, that I must travel to the glorious planet known as Earth. I didn't want to go, I didn;t want to leave her or my people but she told me that as she did once ago that I would contend with the people of Earth and make peace with the Jovians and humans.

Of course, that never happened. After I left with my beloved friend/roommate/guardian, Garnac Tuelm, I never saw my mother again. I was stuck on Earth and forced to build a relationship with these people, forced to show them I am not a monster like they first assumed. I had to show them I could trusted, that I could be their friend and companion for as long as they needed.

But that only worked for so long. Even Jovians with twenty powers can't be perfect.
