"She's moving a shit ton in her sleep" I say, looking over to Nina. Teir 3 insomnia is a bitch, especially if you have fatigue like her.
"Yeah, do you think she's having one of those dreams" She was regrencing the flash back dreams that Nevaeh and Chanel have, Nevaeh feels guilty about helping start this and Nelly is scared and forces herself into a state where she blames herself. When she wasn't with us, it was jusy Me, Nina, Ellie, Nevaeh and Alexis.
"Probably, I'm gonna add water to the pond. You wanna come" I asked Nina, she just shook her head no. So I went without her.
~~Nevaeh's Dream/POV~~
"Ellie, C'mon don't do that. You don't know what it is" Nina complains. I dont really Mind personally, It just looks like someone left a perfume bottle out.
"....I think I broke it" Ellie says, picking it up off the floor.
"This is why I told you to not steal something from a Field trip" Kari said, she shook her head.
"I swear Ellie, If you not joki- Oh my gods" Nina said, looking over. I knew that we'd just sent off something catastrophic, but i don't know what.
~~Morning~~
"Good Morning sleepyhead" I say, nudging Nevaeh. She sits up, yawning and poking Alex's arm. She stands up once Alex starts to move around. I start to make the food for today, we won't be doing anything for a little because of out house renovation. I finish adding water to the mix and Pour it into the bowls. We sit and eat in silence as usual, until I hear a beep. I stand up and set down my almost empty bowl on a shelf.
"Looks like I gotta go" I say, I open the door.
"No your not, not without someone else comming." Nina says, stepping into my way.
"What?" I ask, trying to get out the door.
"You don't understand what it feels like to loose someone, someone's going with you" Nina says, she looks absolutely pissed.
"Nina, what do you mean. We were there when Jasmine and Randy Died." I say, I know theres no emotion. Thats just how I sound.
"YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IT FEELS, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO LOVE SOMEONE THE WAY I LOVED HIM ONLY TO LOSE HIM. Y-You still have family, your sister is probably out there somewhere. I mean everyone has their family or the Person they love, but Im alone" Nina yells, I'm just stunned.
" I, I didn't know thats how you felt" I say, I'm not the emotional Sappy type, but I hug her anyway.
"I'm sorry Nina, but I'm going' I say, she lets go.
"Listen, I know all of you wonder why I've become secretive and I'm just gonna say it. I know where Ellie is." Nina says, I just sit there shocked. Nelly chokes on her food, Nevaeh is just there confused and Alexis puts her hands on her hips.
"I'll see you all in an hour or two, I need time to process this." I say, Finally getting out of the door. It takes close to 45 minutes to get to the site.
"Chicken wire, Metal rods, Seeds, incubator and fertile eggs? Great, they want us to generate out own food. Ok, Rations, 3 gallons of clean water, ammo, meds, another mask and Candles. Wait why is there like 10 matchboxes. Ok then" I take the bag with everything in it and grab the transmitter from the crate. °°Thank you°°
"Send and good bye transmitter, goodbye box." I leave and make the 45 minute trip back.
"Hey, Im back." I step inside to everyone talking, I set down Incubator and start to put in the Eggs. Its battery powered, so the eggs are fine.
"Eggs?" Julie questions.
"And seeds, and fencing, and lighting for the house" I say, Nonchalant.
"Ok then" She says turning around, We all kinda just sat around for the rest of the day and chatted.
~~3 days Later~~
"Julie, can you hold the pole still while I fasten the wire" I tie the wire in 3 spots, we're close to finishing the fence and it's only 2 pm. Nevaeh is sick again and is passed out on the new bedroom. Alexis, Amy, Nelly and Rose decided to go out and scavenge for the Chickens. So we can get back off, I don't know why, but they seemed worried. Me and Julie finished the Fence off, and went to work with the wood. I couldn't help but think of Nev, she was horribly sick and I was making a chicken Coop with Julie. We work till about 9 pm when the others get back. They all go to sleep, but I'm awake. Someone knocks on the door, I walk out. Lighting the candles, I open the door to see a shorter girl long curly hair thats all over the place. Her shirt is oversized, so is her canvas vest. A black dog clings to her, they both aren't all that skinny. The girl is shaky but stable.
"Do you have anything I can Have, Its just me and my Dog" She say, I know that voice.
"
Ellie?" I say, having the girl's face shifting between emotions. I hear Nevaeh sit up.
"Elliane? Is that actually you" She asks.
"What the Fuck, I knew I should've gone further." She says, kicked at the dirt. This was gonna be a long day.
