Chapter 1

Have you ever heard the saying "What if I get kidnapped?" Then your parents reply "Don't worry they'll bring you back."

Well this time it's different...

(Julianna's P.O.V)

Beep Beep Beep Beep!

My alarm goes off and I shut it off and get out of bed and went to bathroom to shower, change, and then went down stairs for breakfast. I looked at the picture with me ,my mom, and dad, I wish they didn't have to leave for a year I miss them so much. I hate the fact they have to work so far away. After breakfast I got my backpack and walk to school.

As soon as I get to school I'm greeted by my friends Nicole, Leslie, Taylor, and my best friend Amy. Amy has been my best friend since we were in diapers, she has been through everything with me. I don't know what I would do with out her.

"Julianna you know the new English teacher is here today!" Amy said with a cheery tone. "Yeah, I can't wait." I say with a sarcastic tone. I like the old English teacher but she went into labor a week ago and it's only the second month of school,she said that she is quitting after she has her baby. So we have been having substitutes, and now we have a new teacher.

The bell rings and we all go our separate ways except me and Amy we have 1st period and 7th period together, we walk into English and took our seats and were talking about how freshman year is a interesting and weird. Then a guy walks in with a nice tan skin and soft dark brown hair with brown eyes that you could melt over. He had a suite that complemented him perfectly.

"Hello class my name is Mr. Collins and I will be your new English teacher."

Amy gave me a note and it read A-"Oh my god Julianna isn't Mr.Collins cute."

J-"I guess, I mean I don't know, a little."

A-"What if he has a son?"

J-"I don't know, ask him?"

Mr.Collins was telling us about himself then Amy raises her hand and asks "Mr.Collins do you have a son?" He replies with a little chuckle "Yes I do, his name is Matthew and he is a new student here and he is 15. "Are you married?" He chuckles again. "No I'm not, I'm divorced."

Then I get a note from Amy again

A-"Wow his son must be fiiinnnneee! Just like him."

J-"Your so weird sometimes, you know that?"

A-"I know. That's what makes me your best friend."

After Mr.Collins told a little bit about himself the bell rang and we went to second period. I have art and I walked in sat down and started to draw when this cute guy walks in and hands the teacher his schedule and says "Okay Matthew you can seat next to Julianna." Oh my god that is Mr.Collins son, what am I going to do?

"Hi my name is Matthew." Matthew said with a sweet tone. He has tan skin and brown hair that he could swish and had amazing hazel eyes. I stared at him and then finally spoke with a stutter. " H-hi m-m-my name is J-Julianna. He just chuckled and said "That's a nice picture. What is it?"

"It's a panda."

He had a sweet smile that I could melt over.

I told him that I have his dad as my English teacher.

"Wow that must be nice." He said sarcastically. I laughed and he laughed too.

School was over and I walked home and saw a moving truck at the house in front of me.

Then I went inside and grabbed some yogurt and watched some TV, when I heard knocking on the door. I went to open it and once I did I saw Matthew and of course I stuttered "H-h-hi" I said quietly. He looked shocked and said "Wow, you live here?"

"Yes."

"Oh okay. Um I was just wondering if you had any salt?"

He said.

Then I replied "Yeah sure, come in here and I'll get some salt."

He came in and looked around. I went into the kitchen and grabbed some salt and gave it to him.Then he got close to me and put the salt on the counter.

I was getting a little nervous. Then he said. "Julianna I like you."

I was just thinking you know wow he likes me and he just meet me. And I like him too.

Then he asked for my number, I kindly gave it to him then thanked me for the salt and kissed my cheek then left.

I quickly ran up to my room and called Amy.

A- Hello?

J- OH MY GOD! Guess what happened?

A- What!?

J- My new neighbors are Mr.Collins and his son Matthew!

A-ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!!

J-Yes! Then Matthew came and asked for some salt, asked for my number, told me that he liked me, and then he kissed my cheek!

A- Ohhhhhh girl Matthew likes you!

J- Yeah. But I mean it's a little weird because it's our teacher living close to me.

A-Yeah your right, but on the bright side Matthew is there to brighten up your day.

J-Yeah I guess your right. Well I'll talk to you later, bye.

A-Bye.

Wow Matthew likes me? This really caught me off guard. Well tomorrow I'll go over to his house and talk to him about it.
