Harry's P.O.V.
Hi im Harry's (19), I am getting my girlfriend Lindsey a Valentines day present. I get out of the car to go to the mall. I want to get her something that will touch her heart and make her stomach flutter. After I give her the best present in the world I will hug her for the very first time. My mom dropped me off by the south entrance (Dillards). I walked past the waterfall and into the Apple store. She did ask for earbuds… I thought, Nah something better. I walk upstairs in to Forever 21 because she asked for a scarf. Well no those aren’t that romantic. I walk back into the Apple store when I get a call. Its Lindsey! “Hey. What’s up?” “Nothing much” she says “Where are you it sounds crowded?” She asks. “At the mall, shopping for someone very special in my life.” I reply. “Is it your mom who you're shopping for?” She jokes, I know she knows I’m shopping for her. “Anyway what do you want ?” “Nothing,” I know she is lying.”Seriously come on tell me” I can see her smile in my head with her beautiful white teeth sparkling in the sunlight. After a few minutes about talking about different things. I hang up and walk over to the earphone case, her favorite color is hot pink so I’ll get her these. Maybe she might want a phone case, she has an IPhone 5C so maybe she might want to have this polka-dot one, well the clear one with the shining sparkles is better, I’ll get the sparkles. Them both together were $55.00. I still have about $20.00 , I’ll give her some chocolates too, and a beautiful red rose.
Lindsey’s P.O.V.
Hi I’m Lindsey, (18).Tomorrow is Valentines Day, and its the first time I have a boyfriend to spend it with. So I want to get him the perfect gift. “Mom!” I yell. “Yes Lindsey?” She replies from upstairs. “Can I go to the mall with Chelsea?” I screamed. Chelsea is my best friend. “Sure, but her mom has to take you.” A burst of excitement travels through me. Maybe I can get those earbuds I’ve always wanted. After a few minutes past, I heard a knock at the door. It’s Chelsea and her mom. I answer the door and Chelsea says “You ready?” I yell upstairs, “Mom I’m leaving!” and nod at Chelsea, then follow her out to the car. I think of lists of things I want to get at the mall; a scarf, earbuds, phone case, and most important, the perfect gift for my Harry. I called him and we talked for about 6 minutes. I get to the mall and buy him some really good smelling cologne and a Bronco’s sweatshirt. I really hope he likes it. I only have around $10 left so ill just buy a scarf, It was a gorgeous bright pink infinity scarf. I think im done for the day, so I sit down with Chelsea next to the fountain in the middle of the mall. I reach into my wallet and grab a penny. “I wish that me and Harry will hug tomorrow after I give him my present... and that he loves it.” I say under my breath to the penny. Then, I toss it into the fountain.
Harry's P.O.V.
Yes! Today is Valentines Day! I can’t mess anything up. I put on a nice, long sleeve dress shirt that is white with blue stripes. I put some cologne on, I’m almost out of it, I should’ve got some yesterday. I Grab my backpack and run out the door. Its 7:25 school starts in five minutes, why isn’t she here yet? Oh well we’ll just have to do it sometime later today. As I walk out of class i see Lindsey! I run to her. She isn’t dressed up at all like I am… I walk her out of the school trying to hold her hand but her arm is holding her straps on her backpack. I get outside and we sit on the concrete, I look in my backpack for the present but it isn’t there. Why why does this have to be today. She hands me my present, after I open it I try and hug her, Our heads bonk. WHY! why today? I look like a loser standing here with no present at all with a huge red mark on my face. I look back at Lindsey, shes holding her head. I feel so nervous, I just walk away quickly while she’s looking down. Worst. Day. Of. My. Life.
