his lightly colored, sloppy brown hair caught my attention first. the wind would toss his hair around, loosening the curls before they'd spring back up. he'd flatten his hair down, a useless act, for the wind was faster than he. in moments, his hair would be blown around, his laughter bursting from behind the mess of hair. i wonder, how soft really is that hair of his? that hair that reminds me of roasted hazelnuts and luscious chocolate.// Lillianna Payton //
