Chapter 2

Recap: "When are we moving ?" I ask standing up

"In a couple of weeks when school is over" she says standing back up packing more things.

I nod and head upstairs completing ignoring my sisters. They don't care much about me.

Fucked up family I know.

After hours of packing I was done packing my things. I left out the things I would need until school was over.

I sigh and sat on my bed. Now just to tell my friends I'm leaving. That's gonna be a challenge.

Ryder's Pov.

I wake up the next day doing my normal routine. Slipping on my 'Lakers' jersey, skinny jeans, and black vans I headed out the door.

I finally get to school with a hell of a lot of butterflies in my stomach.

After getting to the bathroom I see my friends as usual.

They smile but I don't. "Hey what's wrong? Is it your parents again?" Leslie asks

I shake my head and sit down "No. Guys I have to tell you something you aren't gonna like" I say seriously

"Juli are you pregnant?" Vanessa says raising her voice

"No are you crazy. I know to use protection. I'm not one of those stupid hoes" I say sitting up

"Listen, my mom sat me down yesterday and asked me if I remembered how I used to talk about moving to LA and shit." I say as they nod "Well yeah she sat me down and just told me that..i....we are.....ugh!" I struggle saying it as they anxiously wait for me to say something

"SAY IT" They scream at me

"I'm moving okay!" I yell back frighten by there actions

"WHAT" they yell

"Stop yelling jesus!" I hiss "I'm moving okay. My mom told me we are moving to LA." I say looking down

They stay silent letting it all sink in.

"No you can move in with me. You are staying here, anything to keep you here we'll do" Jennifer (Jenny) says

I shake my head "Guys I'm gonna miss you really. But I can't do that to my mom and dad. They are gonna be lonely. I have to go with them"

They all sigh and sit down "This sucks assholes" Leslie says as I chuckle

"When are you leaving " Vanessa asks

"At the end of the year" I say sighing

They nod and soon the bell rings. I hug them and about to walk to my first block.

"I'll see you girls around. Vanessa walk with me?" I ask just wanting to get more attached to her so we won't drift apart.

She nods and smiles "Sure girl. Let's go"

We walk to first block and then second together as well. I got to really know her better and we exchanges numbers so we won't lose contact.

Those last few weeks flew by and by the time I knew it I was saying goodbye to all my friends in Northwest.

I didn't say by to Leslie, Jenny, Lilian, or Vanessa though...well because I'm seeing them later.
