Somthing Different

First Glance

You walk down the street to starbucks early one sunny morning. While you walk you listen to your favorite song (f/s). you walk to the beat and sing along because you dont care what people think. You come up to starbucks while turning down the volume on your music and taking a headphone out.

Cashier:"Hello, what can I get for you today?"

You:"How about a (f/d)"

Cashier:"Coming right up!"

You thank the cashier and pay for your drink. At this time Jack walks in after you and orders his drink. Then your morning was ruined by your ex walking in the door and staring at you as he takes a seat. You ignore him and go on your phone to instagram. Your name was called to get your drink. As you get up you realize your ex gets up and walks towards you.

Him:"Hey (y/n) fancy seeing you here."

he says as he smiles at you.

You:"You know I come here for my coffee. Now please leave me alone."

He grabs your wrist and whispers.

Him:" why don't we go back to my place and catch up?"

You:"I said leave me alone!"

You saying that was just enough to get jacks attention he looks over at the two of you.

Him:" Why are you being difficult, babe?"

You:"Because I don't want you near me!"

Jack got up and stepped between you and your ex. You backed up not expecting what was next. Your ex looks at Jack and Jack looks him straight in the face ansd says.

Jack:"I beleiver the lady asked you to leave her alone..."

May not have seemed threatening but Jacks death stare was all it took for your ex to leave you alone. As your ex walks away mad Jack slowly turns to you.

Jack:"Hey, are you ok?"

You:"Yeah, thanks......for sticking up for me."

Jack:"No problem. a lovely looking lady like yourself doesn't deserve that douche."

You:"Thanks. Hey I never got your name. Mines (y/n)."

Jack:"That's a beautiful name......(y/n)."

You see him stare off like he's thinking of somthing.....your name?

You:"May I have your name?"

You say while laughing slightly.

Jack:"Oh! yeah sorry...it's Jack."

You and jack decide to sit down while you drink your coffees and get to know eachother. The whole time you both laugh and you catch yourself blushing. You know he notices because he smiles and stares at you like youre the only thing that he knows. The rest of the morning consisted of laughter and talking. You loved it and you could tell he enjoyed himself.
