Promise POV
I woke up seeing it was 6. Ugh got to go to this sorry ass school . I roll my eyes to the sound of my momma yelling to hurry up so I can eat. "I'll be down in a few Ma!" I get up and grab my bra and underwear and get in the shower. I washed up for a good 20min and got dressed in a see through black bodysuit , shorts and my adida shell toes and tied my braids back. I went over to my vanity and applied foundation,mascara,concealer and some clear lip gloss. Next was my eyebrows. Finally I added some jewelry and sprayed perfume and headed downstairs.
"Morning Mommy" I kissed her cheek
"Hi baby you look cute!" I twirled around showing off my outfit.
"You better hurry up I got to pick up Sabrina" Joshua my annoying ass brother spoke.
"Don't worry I'll take extra long so your hoe of a girlfriend will have to walk." I cheesed at him while he looked pissed.
"Not playing with you Promise." He turned around going upstairs. I giggled to myself and kissed momma cheek.
"Later mommy"
"Later pooh" she handed me 20$ for lunch and called my brother down signaling I was ready. We headed over to his white Range Rover and I sat in the front as we drove to this dusty hoe Sabrina house. We pulled up and she came out the the house in these short ass shorts, a tshirt and some sandals. What a shame look at the hoe.
"Hey Promise" she spoke as she got settled.
"Hey Miranda" my brother nudged me
"Uhm.. it's Sabrina"
"Uhm I don't really care." I snarled putting my headphones on. We pulled up to school and I hopped out and walked over to my friends Miya and Brandon.
"Wassup bitches"
"Waspoppin" we all embraced and looked at our schedules it felt so good to be seniors. I looked around.
"Where's Jay?"
"Who knows she forever coming late" Brandon shrugged while checking this girl out. Typical. We started walking and I felt a pair of hands creep around my waist and someone whisper "miss me" I turned around jumping on Jay. "I missed you dude!"
"Word? I missed you to ma"she hugged me.
"Lemme walk you to class." She offered to catch up so I nodded yes.
"Let's go"

Jays POV
I missed Promise so much over spring
break. She doesn't know but I got feelings for ole girl. We been best friends since I can remember and shawty swear she don't go that way but I plan on changing her mind. I walked in the cafeteria and saw some nigga approaching Promise and she was giggling and shit. Oh hell no. I was about to walk my ass over there but my ex Nina came over talking bout she miss me but I ain't wanna hear it. I pushed her off me and went over only to see ole dude gone.
Promise POV
Jay sat next to me looking pissed.
"Wrong with you Jay?" She looked at me and just said nothing. I figured to leave her alone. "Miya you going to that back to school party Tonight?"
"Hell yeah! I need to find me a man"
I laughed at her boy crazy ass.
"Me too girl!" We high-five and continued to discuss about the party.
It was the end of school and I was outside waiting on my brothers stupid ass until he texted me telling me to catch a ride. Ugh just great all my friends are gone.
"Hey Promise" I looked up to see the boy Malik from lunch.
"Hi" I responded dryly.
"Need a ride?"
"No I'm just gonna walk."
"No you're not come on I don't want you walking by yourself."
I sighed and just agreed because I was tired and ready to get in the house. I followed him to his car and got in. "You going to Trinity's party?"
"Yeah you?"
"Yep.. you wanna go together?"
"Malik.."
"I know we barley know much about one another but I would really like to get to know you better." He glanced at me then the road
"I guess so it won't be that bad."
"Good" We pulled up at my house and I thanked Malik and went in the house and laid down on the couch taking a small nap before I had to get ready for the party.
