「 encounter 」
It was a quiet Saturday morning in one certain house.
Until the people living there were called to have breakfast.
"Everyone, it's time for breakfast!" Announced the female, Alice, from across the hall so that her friends will be able to hear her.
Alice greeted them all a good morning with a smile on her face. Some of them greeted back, and the rest only hummed or nodded in return. And as everyone sat down, Alice had noticed that there was one person who was missing.
"Where's Megumi-san?" The white haired female questions, looking around to check if the blue braided haired girl was just late.
"She told me that she went out to buy some ingredients for her potions," notified the cousin of Alice, Erina, flipping her hair back to not get in her way.
Alice nods her head, and she proceeds to eat her breakfast with everyone else.

Megumi was just heading back to her apartment that she shares with her friends for who knows how long, carrying a paper bag that contained all the needed items she needed to finish the current potion she was making.
And as the blue haired teen turns to the left, she was shocked to see a bruised up little girl, sat down and leaning on the stone wall for support. Immediately, Megumi had made way to the girl, and she frowns when she examines and assumed that the bruises was made not too long ago.
Human's these days don't treat their own kind right, Megumi then thinks to herself, and she places her paper bag down so that she can pray for the little girl's bruises to heal.
After Megumi's prayer, she patted the head of the girl, and stood up again resume her way home.
However, she paused when she heard the girl hoarsely speak. ".. Thank you..."
Gently smiling, Megumi nods her head, and squats back down to face the little girl properly. "You're welcome. You should head home now so that you won't get in trouble," the older female instructs, tilting her head.
".. I don't have a home," blurted out the girl, frowning deeply.
Feeling pity for the girl, Megumi was about to offer if she wanted to stay with her at the apartment, but then she remembered that there might - or there isn't - any room for her to stay at all; it was already quite crowded, and adding another person wouldn't help at all, so Megumi instead suggested something else. "No home? Where are your parents, or guardian, then? I'll help you find them," Megumi knew it was risky, because this might just be some plan to lure her and capture her for some unknown reason, but she is willing to take the risk, for now.
The little girl, who had shining pink eyes, stared at Megumi's own, as if she was trying to figure something out. "I'm fine," suddenly protested she, forcing a smile so obvious Megumi was about to question it, "I have been living like this for quite awhile, so I can handle myself."
"I see," registering the younger one's words, Megumi nods her head once more, not wanting to force the little girl.
Without any more delay, Megumi stood up and resumed her way - again - to her apartment. For real this time.
She's most likely a Mage.
