I wake up and run to the bathroom so I can get in before Caleb. When I get in the shower I think about how it is a new year, and how maybe I'll find my childhood best friend Tobias. I doubt it. When I get out, I wrap myself up in a towel and blow-dry my hair. When I'm done, I walk to my fairly large room and go to my walk in closet. My mom is a best selling book author and my dad is the governer or something like that, so we are rich. I pick out a turquoise v neck with a turquoise and black scarf with blue jeens and my black combat boots. When I'm done getting dressed, I walk over to my vanity and curl my hair into ringlet curls. I also put on a little more makeup than I usually do since it is the first day of a new year. When I'm done getting dressed, I pick out cute P.E clothes and a hairtie on my wrist so I can put my hair up in P.E. When I'm done I look in my full body mirror and think how proud Christina would be. Before I walk downstairs I grab my leather jacket and my locket Tobias gave me before he moved and head to the kitchen.
When I get to the kitchen, I grab a muffin and say good bye to my mom, dad, and brother Caleb. I walk out to my turquoise Lamborghini and blare my favorite musician Taylor Swift. When I get to the school, I can tell everyone is staring at me and I kinda like it. When I step out, Christina nearly knocks me down with a bear hug.
" Hey Chrissy!"
"Hey Trissy!"
"How was your summer?"
"Great! Will and I are kinda a thing now."
"Omg that's great."
Once I said that, the rest of the group came walking up. When the gang was talking, I noticed some guy staring at me. He had short brown hair, a muscular build, and what stood out the most was his deep blue eyes that I could get lost in for hours and they reminded me so much of Tobias's. At that moment, the bell rang and we went off to our first period class. As I was walking, I was so caught up in thought that I ran into somebody.
"Sorry! I wasn't paying attention."
"No sorry it was me. I wasn't watching where I was going" I say as I get lost in those deep blue eyes once again.
"Umm, can I see the inside of your locket?" he says
"Uh sure"
After he looks at the picture of tobias and I when we were little kids he looks at me with those mesmerizing eyes and says,
"Bea?"
"Toby?'
"Oh my gosh it's you" we say at the same time.
"So, Tobias, what class do you have next?"
"Music"
"Oh great all my friends and I have that class next too. Let's go I'll introduce you guys."
Both of us quickly walk to music and find a seat next to all the others.
"Guys, this is Tobias"
"Tobias this is Christina, Will, Uriah, Zeke, Lyne, Marlene, and Shauna."
We get a chorus of hellos and heys then class starts.
The teacher, Mrs. Tori, said that we have to create a band with at the most of 10 people and perform a song. We decided that Tobias and I will sing, Christina, Lynn, Shauna and Marlene will be backup singers, Will and Zeke are playing guitar, and Uriah is on the drums. The song we decided to sing is counting stars. we all got on stage and once we finished the song everyone was standing and clapping then ....................................Tobias leaned in and kissed me.
