Cory's POV:
"I'm actually going to ask this time." I decided to go try talk to Tommy. "Knock, knock, Tom," I started to creak the door open. "Sorry about earlier, I was being a dick, and I'm sorry."...I still got no answer. "Okay, I get it. You're going through a lot, but, will you at least expect my apology?"...nothing, of course. I had no choice but to peer in. "Tommy?" I'm glad I did, because what saw left me in shock.
A Tom, lying on the floor, dead? No, he was breathing to hard to be dead. His breathing was shaky, patterned in a bumpy-like motion.
His arms were outstretched, bent, but outstretched. One of his forearms were uncovered, a root-like design of black running down to his wrist; and just below that, a long gash, across the arm, blood still wet and running down to his elbows. "Tom, they were only going out for lunch, what did you do?" Swiping back my hair, and running my hands down to my neck, I went into this massacre of a bathroom.
Nick's POV:
"Thanks! Come again!" The lady at the register thanked as we went to sit down.
"Thanks!" I replied politely.
As we sat in the bakery's vintage French chairs, Ashlie started to grab things off the flower-printed tray in the middle of us. "MACAROONS!"
"Ashlie, calm down! You're not saving up and going to a bomb shelter! You get half of them." Ashlie froze as I said that.
"'Half'?" She looked like a child learning Santa isn't real. "What do you mean? You're kidding, right?" Ashlie started to giggle, I wasn't paying another ten bucks for Macaroons.
"You can have all of those if you buy the second dozen." Ashlie suddenly gained a face of determination. "Fine. I'll pay." Ashlie put all of the macaroons back in the cardboard box, got up and walked to the counter.
Tommy's POV:
My eyes seemed to have closed at some point, because when I opened them, I was back in the bathroom floor.
My mind told me to stand, but when I tried, I couldn't. I looked around for a solution, my mind rushed to get me off the floor.
I finally looked below me, I lied lifeless on the ground, covered in black and red.
Behind my body, Cory struggling to wake me up, help me in someway.
"Am I in purgatory?" My mind, scared, sad, angry, confused, all I could do was watch.
After a few minutes of shaking my lifeless body, Cory pulled out his phone.
Please be texting Nick, I floated over to Cory's phone, Ashlie? Damn it! What's he telling her?
"Ash, you need to get here ASAP! It's Tommy!" I read Cory's text carefully, wanting to cry all over again.
Someone, anyone, please her me and help, I can't go on like this...
Ashlie's POV:
BUZZ! BUZZ! My phone went off in my jean pocket. "Hold, on..."
"Ash, you need to get here ASAP! It's Tommy!" Read Cory's text.
"Oh my god!" I covered my mouth with my fingers in shock.
"What? What is it?" Nick wanted to know what was going on, I could tell he was feeling weird about this date.
My eyes met his, we were both shocked, even if one of us didn't know what was going on. When I finally spoke there were no good news, "It's Tommy."
