Vic's POV

"I'm really going to miss you." I manage to choke out as I sit with Diana on the couch. "I don't want you to go."

Diana cuddles up next to me, and nuzzling her head into the crook of my neck. I could feel my neck get a bit wet.

I look down at Diana, "Oh, don't cry, love. Please. I don't like seeing you like this."

She weakly wipes her tears away, "I'm sorry. I just don't want to go back to California. I don't want to leave you and Savannah behind. I hate saying goodbyes."

I pull Diana closer to me. I hold her tight, not wanting to let her go.

"What are you two going to do without each other?" Savannah softly laughs as she looks at us. I just shrug at her and slightly frown.

We all just sit in Savannah's living room, waiting for Diana's parents to come get Diana.

It was quiet in the house, only because we couldn't have the nerve to turn the TV on. Savannah sat on a recliner looking at her phone, and Diana and I were cuddled up on the couch. We were all basically trying to savor our last few moments with Diana before she left.

"I love you." I whisper to Diana. Hoping only she could hear me. Diana looks up at me and gives off a weak smile.

That was the second time I told Diana I loved her. The phrase was new to me, new to her, new to us. Diana was the first girl I ever told her I loved her and actually meant it. With previous relationships, I never got to the point of loving a girl; I had strong feelings for some girls, but it was never love.

None of the others compared to Diana. Diana is a very special girl to me. She's beautiful, wise, talented, funny, has a beautiful smile, likes the same music as I do, is cocky but in a cute way, and she's just an overall amazing girl. Nobody can ever compare to Diana.

"I love you too." Diana manages to say, but in a quiet voice.

Moments later we hear the tires of a car drive along the gravel road outside the house. Signaling that Diana's parents were here for her.

Diana worriedly looks at me and I see her eyes getting glossy and a frown on her face. Her bottom lip slightly hung out and I just hate seeing her like this. I give her a reassuring look and just stare into her eyes.

I stand up and help Diana up. She hurriedly wraps her arms around my torso and hugs me tightly. I hug her back, tighter than I normally do. I didn't want to let her go, not at all.

Suddenly the front door opens and Diana and I release from each other. Her parents standing there looking at us with an angry look on their faces.

"What is he doing here!?" Diana's father yells.

"I, ugh... I-" I stutter with my words.

Diana's dad stomps towards Diana and grabs her arm and yanks her towards the door.

"Ow, dad, you're hurting me!" Diana says.

"Go and get in the car, now!" Diana's mom says.

"Bye, Vic. I love you." Diana says with tears in her eyes and walks out of the house.
