«prologue»

Samantha woke up from the nois of her phone vibrating. She woke up and grabbed her phone from the nightstand. It was a text from Alice, one of her best friends. She had two Alice and Margaret. Samantha was about to open the text when her phone vibrated again. She groan. It was a text from Margaret. She looked at Alice's text first.

Alice: Wake up! Happy Birthday! Get ready for school. Pice me up when your done :)

She smiled then tested her saying ok and Happy Birthday!. She opened Margaret's text next.

Margaret: Happy Birthday! ready to meet our mates?! i am so happy and don't forget to pick me up.

Samantha texted the same thing as she did to Alice.

Today was Samantha, Margaret, and Alice's birthday. They were all werewolves. They were all turning sixteen the age were female werewolves get to know their mate. Male werewolves only knew their Mates because of their birthday. They feel like a connection with the female werewolf.

Samantha was really nervous as well as the other girls. Its funny how their bestfriends with the same birthday. They were all nice. They thing is, that everyone bullied them at school. Even their pack. They were called sluts and whores. They all knew another since they were in diapers.

They all had brecess. Samantha was really chubby. She had Black hair and blue eyes. Margaret was really skinny. She had blonde hair and brown eyes. Alice had a flat stomach. She had brown hair and green eyes. Samantha was special, not mentally but supernatural. She had powers. She got them from her father who dies a few years back. She can make people feel any emotion, move things with her mind, read minds, hide her werewolf scent and etc.

Samantha threw the bed sheets of her and dressed up for school. She really didn't care about dressing nice. She just put on some sweats and a blue hoodie. She put her hair in a ponytail. Once she was done she looked at the cloak. It was already seven thirty. She grabbed her stuff and left downstairs. She entered the kitchen and grabbed a sandwich that her mom made her for breakfast. Samantha grabbed her keys to her mustang and drove to Alice's house while eating her sandwich. She beept twice and waited. Alice was out the door in a few seconds. She wore some gray jeans and a ruffled shirt. Alice got in the car and Samantha started the engines. Samantha noticed that Alice was a little shaky.

"Don't worry ill be fine", Samantha said to Alice. Alice nodded.

Soon after they were in Margaret's house. Samantha hoonked twice. In one second Margaret was in the car and ready to go. She was wearing a skirt and a green jacket. Samantha smiled.

"Well lets go today is a special day",Margaret said.

"I know i can't wait and see who's going to be my mate",Alice said.

Once they got to Rocky High the girls squealed. The school was a werewolf school so everyone knew each another. The girls got out of the car and stand next to each other.

"Ready?",Margaret asked.

"Ready", Samantha and Alice said together. They all began to walk in the entrance. They opened the door and walked to their locker which were right next to each other. When they reached their locker they all smelt something different but sweat. They turned around and immediately locked eyes with their mates.

All the girls weren't to happy. Their mates were Jake, Sean and Cole. Samantha's mate was Jake the future alpha of the star pack. Sean was Alice's mate, future beta in the same pack. Cole was Margaret's mate, he was a player. Jake, Sean, and Cole were best friends, The only thing is that they are the most persons that bullied Samantha, Margaret, and Alice.

The boys were across from the girls. They all had a girl under their arms. The girls finally stopped staring and faced another. They were completely speechless.

'Oh god please tell me that they are not our mates',Samantha mind-linked the girls.

'I would love to but i would be lying',Margaret mind-linked back.

They guys started walking toward the girls with smirk on their faces. Samantha,Margaret, and Alice looked confuse. Once the guys got close to the girls they said,

"I Jake reject you"

"I Cole reject you"

"I Sean reject you"

then they simply just turned around and left Samantha, Margaret, and Alice alone. Everyone in the school laughed. Margaret was about to cry but kept her tears from falling. Alice on the other hand was sobbing really hard. Samantha stood there angry and hurt. 'I have to be strong for my friends',She kept telling herself.

Samantha then grabbed both of her friends wrists and dragged them to the parking lot. She ignored all the laughter. She was use to it anyways.

"Get in, were leaving", Samantha told her friends. Alice and Margaret nodded and climbed in the car. Alice and Margaret cried all the way to Samantha's house. 'How dare they! Reject us like some kind of toy!',Samantha though to herself.The girls went to Samantha room and cried.

"No. You know what girls. No more crying. Were leaving this pack! We won't be able to live close to our mates. Were leaving tonight. Get your stuff", Samantha said.

"Were are we going to go? We can't just become rouges", Alice said wipping her tears away.

"I agree lets leave this dump", Margaret said.

"Alice i don't know but we will find something. I promise", Samantha said.
