-River's POV-
I opened my eyes and stretched. I acidentally hit Grace's cheek.
"Ow, geez River." Grace rubbed her cheek. I sat up and thought of something.
"I'm sorry, Grace. May I?" I said and Grace suspiciously removed her hand from her cheek. I acted as if I examined where I hit her, then planted a kiss on her cheek. "There. Better now?"
"Yeah." She giggled. "How was your nap?"
"Very much relaxing." I smiled. "I think a bed would be much comfier though." Her jaw dropped. She shoved me a bit and gave me the hand. Grace tried to keep a straight face, but had a small smile on her face.
"I'm kidding Grace!" I said. She didn't look at me. "Graaaaaaaaace!" I whinned. Still no response. I stood up and I sat down on her lap.
"OH MY GOSH RIVER!" She shrieked. "You're heavy!"
"You're bluffing." I scoffed.
"Oh really?" She snapped. "If i'm bluffing then why can't I move my legs?"
"Cause you're weak." I retorted.
"Because you weigh a million pounds!" She emphasized. I shook my head. She tried pushing me off and failed. "Get off!"
"But your lap is fairly comfy." I said sneakily.
"Says the one who prefers a bed over my lap." She snapped.
"I didn't say that! I said it would be much comfier than your lap! If I were to choose, I would pick a bed-"
"Exactly!" She said.
"Let me finish!" I said. "I would pick a bed so the both of us could lie together and be comfy." Grace went completely red.
"Just get off my lap.." She said embarassed. I slid off her lap and sat beside her.
The air was cool, the sun was warm, it was bright, the flowers were blooming. It was beautiful today.
I felt a bit empty, wanting a drink.. maybe something different than a liquid...
Not now. Why do I have to feel this way now?!
"Grace?" I asked. She looked at me. "Do you drink?" She shook her head.
"Haven't had alcohol once." She said like a goodie-two-shoes.
"What if I drank?" I asked. She chuckled.
"What do you mean if? You already drink." She laughed. "I found you remember?"
"Oh yeah huh? Ha ha.." I laughed awkwardly. "Do you mind? I kinda want a drink at the moment.."
"Sure, you lead the way." She smiled.
She's coming with me to get a drink. Usually a girl never does that unless she drank too! But Grace is like a saint! Not a drink or bad grade.

I sat down at one of the bars, and beside me was Grace who looked scared. I covered her hand with mine, and whispered in her ear, "You don't need to be scared. No one is going to push you to do anything." Grace nodded and I gave an assuring smile. Our faces were centimeters away and I could barely resist.
"Rio!" The bartender greeted. I pulled back away from Grace. "Your girl?"
"Not yet." I smiled and Grace slapped my arm.
"He wishes." Grace smirked.
"You do too." I added and she raised an eyebrow at me.The bartender chuckled and gave me a glass of Sam Adams. "Thanks man." I said and he gave me a nod.
