I was walking around the dorm absentmindedly, wondering where Annabelle was. I was getting worried because I hadn't seen her since last night. I’d tried calling her but she didn't answer her phone; it just went straight to voice mail.

So I decided to go and search for her. But even after looking everywhere...I couldn't find her at all.

She wasn't in Maths. I was questioned by our teacher Mrs. Swan, asking where Annabelle was. I told her I didn't know, but she wouldn't listen. She then gave me a detention just because I was telling the truth and that she didn't believe me. She thought I was covering for her or something.

So there I was sitting in detention, bored as it would be we were only allowed to do homework. And as I didn't have anything, I was just made to sit there quietly.

It was then I noticed someone was sitting next to me...It was the bad boy of the school.

Louis Tomlinson. The boy every girl in the school had been with.

But I was determined I wasn't going to.

He suddenly looked up, and was staring into my eyes. Gosh he’s eyes were nice...blue and sparkly, they were just so...

Oh my god, stop it Melissa what are you getting yourself into!? He's the bad boy of the school and you don't wanna be with him remember?!

I snapped back into reality and looked straight ahead at the board; but his hand on my cheek turned my head back towards him. It was really concerning that not only was he doing this ...but because he didn't even know me at all. And I was letting him. I'd never even met him all!

I knew his name and that was it.

The bell rung and it was finally time to get out of there and make a run for it, away from Louis Tomlinson. Annabelle was in our dorm, how did she get here before me? Unless she’d been hiding here all damn day...

“Annabelle Lockhart!” I cried, “Where have you been you have had me worried sick!”

"I've been with the new girl, I wanted make friends." She shrugged oh so casually, like she hadn’t missed class or gotten me into trouble. Not that she knew that yet.

"You could've told me ‘belle, I was so worried I was looking everywhere and then you weren't in maths and Mrs. Swan gave me a detention because I didn't know where you were and she thought I was lying then I was in there just minding my own business when the schools bad boy comes and sites next to me!” I managed to get out in one breath, immediately breathing in deeply to replenish my oxygen after I had finished speaking.

Of course I wasn't going to tell her about what I was thinking when I was looking into his gorgeous eyes...

Oh my god stop! I'm doing it again I need to stop it, it's not like he will ever like me or anything, I'm not the type of girl that he would date anyway! So I’m safe there...or at least I hope so.

I went with ‘belle to meet the new girl, Nova Carlisle, she was dark blonde. Her hair was wavy and it stopped at her shoulders, she had olive green eyes and fair skin, I would say she was about 5'3" with angular cheekbones. She was the kind of girl that loved making jokes, she seemed quite a prankster.

"Mel this is Nova, Nova this is Melissa".

"Hey nice to meet you I was so worried about belle, but I'm happy she's made a new friend!”

So I had now made a new friend, well at least I hope she liked me.

I ended up excusing myself and left to go back to the dorm. It was too closed in so I decided to go for a walk since it was break, clear my head a little.

I ended up at Starbucks; I bought a thick shake, my favourite. Strawberry with extra whipped cream; I’d been so much that they knew exactly how I liked it. I loved it there it normally makes me calm, but then it wasn’t.

Afterwards I walked to the park where I was well and truly alone and sat down on a park bench. It was getting dark now.

"Great just great, now what am I meant to do!” I sighed, throwing my hands up in annoyance at my own stupidity for coming out here when it was late!

A sudden hand on my shoulder made me scream.

My head whipped around, clutching my heart in panic, my eyes wide. They landed on an unfortunately all too familiar face.

"Relax Melissa, it’s just me Louis, you know from the detention room?” He smirked, digging his hands into his pocket in that arrogant way that he just oozed.

That got me even more worried because I was in a dark park alone with LOUIS TOMLINSON. Inside I was hyperventilating so much by now.

But he was my last option of getting out of this park without getting lost or mugged or something worse.

He then offered, “Do you want me to take you back to the dorm?” I opened my mouth to speak but he cut me off by cursing harshly, “SHIT! I forgot it's closed. I could take you back to my place if you like...”

I was panicking. Me? Alone with him? In his house?!

“Melissa I can see you’re hyperventilating, you shouldn't do that you can cause yourself serious sickness if you do that.”

"I'm just scared of this darkness.” I lied, even though it was him I was scared of; but like I said, he was my only option to get out of the dark.

“Do you want me to walk close to you?” He asked, sliding closer towards me, the smirk still pulling at his perfect lips. Seeing my hesitation he shrugged and said simply, “You’re not the type of girl I’d want to date, so no offence or anything but you can trust me when I say you’re safe with me.”

Well ouch; if that wasn’t an emotional punch to the face I didn’t know what was!

"...Ok.” I huffed, biting my lip to contain the sharp curses I was currently directing at him in my head.

“Hey,” He nudged me playfully, causing me to look back up from the spot on the floor I was boring holes into. “I was kidding, not that you don’t know you’re hot or anything,” He winked.

I couldn’t help it. I blushed.

SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!

I didn't really just blush did I?

Crap I think I may be, wait I can’t be....
