"Is that all mam?" Yavanika asked that young woman for which she got a reply "Yes Mam!"

"So you are saying that you didn't see your husband for the past two days and his mobile is switched off?"

"Yes mam!" that young woman replied with tears in her eyes.

Yavanika is the youngest woman to become Deputy Commissioner of Police. Three years ago, she was an inspector. But now due to her determination and dedication, she solved numerous crimes and climbed up the ladder too fast and reached this position. Unlike some police woman, she does have a wonderful family.

Yavanika's husband is a lawyer. He had set up his office at their home itself. Their marriage was an arranged one. They have a beautiful kid named Sara. She is 4 years old and will go to 1st grade next year.

"Okay mam, you leave your complaint along with your husband's photo at the front desk, we will form a separate team and will definitely find your husband. Don't worry mam you can go now". She agreed with that and left.

"Why does a missing person's case come straightly to me?", Yavanika angrily talked to herself.

"It's probably because the wife is the daughter of an Ex-Minister", her assistant Roopa entered with a cup of coffee and smiled at Yavanika.

"Whatever, Pass that photo to all the stations and toll booths and tell them to report directly to me if something comes up, Okay?"

"Yes mam, Here is your coffee", Roopa gave the cup.

"No thanks Roopa, Its already late, I have to pick up my daughter from her school, you drink that"

"I'll go and pick her up mam!", Roopa said with an excitement.

"Then who will do your job? Me?", Yavanika said that sarcastically and left the room.

Lots of salutes on the way! Yavanika earned that much respect because she respects and treat others equally. She doesn't like others doing her job. She usually picks her daughter from school on her own. Not only she is a great police woman, she is a great mother too and more than that, a great human being!

She entered her car. She started driving. The petrol was pretty low. "Oh god!". She went to a nearby petrol bunk and filled the tank. She reached the school in the next five minutes. Her daughter, the cute Sara was waiting outside the school, holding her lunch box.

Yavanika saw her daughter, left the car and went straight to her. "Hey cutie, Sorry baby! Mom got little work", she said with a smile.

"Go mummy, I am angry on you, you are always late", Sara looked somewhere else and said that with little anger.

"Sorry cutie, come, let's have ice cream today", Yavanika said with a smile.

The cutie got excited. "I love you mom!!".

"I love you too cutie!, Come lets go", Yavanika grabbed Sara and walked towards her car.

They got into her car and left the school. On the way, they stopped at an ice cream shop. Sara had a Choco-bar and Yavanika had a Strawberry cup.

They bought some toys for Sara and reached their home at 4:30PM. Sara entered the home by screaming "Daddy!!!". Yavanika followed her.

The front door was opened. There was no one in the hall. She entered the dining hall which is adjacent to the kitchen. There was something on the dining table, a red spot. She took a closer look. YES, IT'S BLOOD!
