"I just wanted to be a normal person!"

I was given power which I never wanted

I used to be a normal human being, used as in "previously". I was a normal high school student, with average looks, average smarts and just about average in all aspects. I never stood out in a good way, but I was never isolated in a bad way. To be honest, I had expected to live out my life like an ordinary person, a cog in this well driven machine we called society. 

But life never turns out the way we wish it to. I used to think that our lives were determined by some God which planned our lives for some greater good, but after that one incident, I found out that this "God" whom we thought was so omnipotent was not like that at all.

Everything I knew, everything I have gathered as part of my knowledge and experience for the entirety of my small insignificant life was turned around on its head in that one short moment of time.

- I met a "God" -

Maybe he wasn't a god, he was just this really powerful being that mere mortals like us could not understand so we just classified them was gods in an attempt to understand them better. But he was still a being that mere mortals could never have met, but I met him anyways.

And that bastard, made me into one as well. A monster like him, a freak like him.

He made me a transcendent being.
