The first of the Potatorian ancestors originated in Southern America. They were a hunter gatherer species with no societies. Until about 11,000 years ago, which is when the Potatorians started forming actual societies. They made advancements such as creating wheels and developing laguage, etc. They had a unique culture, a unique currency, a unique language and a unique numerical system. Everything seemed to be going great for the Potatorians. Until around 7,000 BC or 9,000 years ago.
