Jadyn's POV

I immediately felt the searing pain as I peeled open my eyes. At least now I know I'm not dead. Omg I'm alive!!! I giggle a little bit. I can't believe I survived that fall! I'm sore all over from hitting the water. I turn myself around remembering the boy. I gasp as I see his arm. It was twisted in a very unnatural position. Oopsie I forgot to tuck his arms in his jacket too. He he😅 it must've broken when he hit the water. I try to get up but I immediately slip in the mud and end up with a face full of it.☹️

I crawl over to him to check his pulse. Phew he's still alive. I need the guy here so I'm not lonely! I look up at the sky and see that it is almost morning. I had be knocked out since dawn yet I was still exhausted. I found a stick to splint the boy's arm. When I was setting it I cringed at the cracking noise the bones made.😖 I then leaned him up against a nearby boulder before I myself rested against one and fell asleep.

Jinyoung's POV

I woke up in extreme pain. Omg what happened??? I look down at my arm which hurts the most and notice the splint. What the heck I thought I was just being robbed?! Did that guy seriously break my arm?! Aish!

I look at my surroundings and find a field of tall grass encompassed by a forest. Oké this definitely isn't Michigan.
Back in Detroit it was the middle of fall. It's way too warm here. I turn to my left to see a girl about my age soaking wet. Not without crying out in pain and swearing I scooch over towards her. I at first tapped her shoulder but when that wouldn't work I started shaking her arm.

Jadyn's POV

I was walking through a dense forest of pine and maple. The leaves crunched below me as I stepped towards a clearing. Just as I reached the clearing a bright light shone and faintly I could see the outline of a person. The mysterious figure had huge feather wings. Just as I was almost close enough to touch them something grabbed me from behind and started shaking me.

The forest faded away revealing an empty field. I jump awake and turn to my right to see the boy looking at me with a bruised lip. How come I didn't notice that before??? Oh um sorry I fell asleep. I stutter. Yeah yeah whatever. He said harshly. Where are we and who are you? Oh yay introduction time!!!

My name is Choi Jadyn and I have no idea where we are. I found you asleep on my lawn and when I touched your girly flower necklace thingy we both started falling from the sky... And your name is??? I say the last part cheerfully. His eyes were wide. I could tell he didn't believe me one bit. Um uhh my name is Jinyoung.

He sits there silently, mouth hanging open when I tell him the details of our fall. All except the part where I thought about how cute he was.☺️ well... he said. I guess we're not in Michigan anymore...
