"That's my sunshine!" Dad pulled the bolt out of the can, fifty feet away on Hershel's fence. He walked back and reloaded the crossbow, then slung it over his shoulder. He kissed my forehead and hugged me. I hugged him back, then ran off to find Carl. I wanted to show him the new necklace Shane made me out of a bullet.
A while later I saw Glenn and Maggie walking towards the house. I ran to them. "Uncle Glenn! Maggie!" They turned and smiled. "Hey sweetie, how'd training go?" Maggie asked as Glenn ruffled my hair. "It was good. I hit a can fifty feet away." Glenn smiled. "If you keep it up that well, maybe your dad will let you go hunting with us." "Don't be making my girl fake promises, China Boy." My dad placed his hand on my shoulder and smiled at me. "Korean," Glenn muttered, and Maggie laughed. "Go find Carl honey. Dinner is in a little bit." "Okay daddy."
I found him throwing rocks at a tree. "Hi Carl." He turned. "Hi Arrowe." He came over and poked my ribs. "You're it." He ran away, laughing, and I chased after him. Back and forth we went after each other until our parents calles our names and we went into the house.
