The Castle went towards the coordinates to the Marmora's location, Keith sitting down in his spot looking like he was in deep thought. Coran at his control panel with Shiro right behind him. "How soon will we get to the Blade of Marmora's base?" Shiro asked. "Based on the coordinates that Ulaz gave us, we should be there within a few doboshes," Coran said. "I can't wait to see it!" Pidge exclaimed, a smile on her face, "I mean, they were able to fold space-time and that was just at an outpost!"
"Mm, the space taco. It left us too soon," Hunk said, putting a hand to his stomach and rubbing it. "Well, sure, but my point is, imagine how amazing their home base will be!" Pidge said, turning her body towards Hunk and holding her arms out. "Exactly. It could take on any shape," Hunk said, a wide smile on his face, "Like a space jelly donut. Or long, like a space éclair. Or a space cheese blintz with a cherry sauce on top. Maybe a little dusting of powdered sugar. That's the stars." "Aw! Now, I'm hungry for breakfast," Lance whined, looking over to Hunk. "Thanks for making me hungry for waffles," Olivia said, a smile on her face. But truly inside she didn't want to be here because... galras.
"Guys, this is a serious mission. We need to focus," Keith sighed, looking over at them then looking away. "'We need to focus'," Lance said mockingly, making a disgusted face. "The base is in range," Coran informed, Olivia started to feel an angry heat rise up inside her. "Take us in slow," Shiro ordered. "That might prove the tiniest bit of a challenge," Coran stated, the base is in a middle of a giant blue star. The blue star having two black holes that the sides of the black holes. "Is that a black hole, Coran?" Olivia asked, her sight not leaving the odd space base. "No, no, no, no, no. It's two black holes and a giant blue star," Coran explained.
"That's not better," Hunk said. "No kidding. Just inside a black hole, the temperature is one millionth of a degree above absolute zero," Pidge said, furrowing her eyebrows, "But, just outside of that, it's hundreds of millions of degrees Celsius." "Okay, it's like when you try to nuke a frozen burrito in the microwave, and it comes out all scorching hot on the outside, but it's still frozen in the middle, right?" Hunk asked, explaining Pidge's statement with food. "Now, I'm hungry for lunch!" Lance whined, looking over at Hunk.
"Guys, quiet! Coran, where's the base located?" Keith asked, standing up and the screen circled the middle of the star. "In between those three deadly celestial objects," Coran said, the screen zooming in until the base appeared. "The perfect defensive position," Olivia said, feeling see could summon a giant weapon to destroy it. "Or the perfect trap," Allura hissed, a glare on her face. "Yeah, I'm with Allura. Maybe we shouldn't, like, go in there at all?" Hunk asked, Keith blew a fuse. "What are you talking about? We have to go in!" Keith yelled, everyone looking at him, "This is the whole reason we came out here! There is no other option!"
"Calm down, Keith," Olivia said. Apparently Keith wants to be here while I don't. They heard the computer beep, soon purple writing in a different language appeared on the screen. "Identify yourself," the computer said, Shiro turned his head towards Coran. "Open a hailing frequency, Coran," Shiro ordered, Coran did what Shiro said, "We are the Paladins of Voltron sent here by Ulaz." There's silence, then the writing changed on the screen. "Three or two may enter. Come unarmed," the computer said. The screen disappeared.
