*Samantha's POV*
It has been a month since ethan confessed his feelings,his problems and it's also been a month to Ethan's counselling sessions.
Yes,we enrolled him up for them as he really needed them to start a new life.At first he was scared but he never denied as he knew that he had to start up again!
Grayson left for LA 15 days back but he promised to meet us in a month so yea Ethan is looking forward to it,well so am I.
I was in the kitchen making pizza for ethan when he returns from the session when I heard my phone ring.
I read the screen it read Mom//Lisa
I smiled,she was like my Actual mom,I lost my mom when I was 20 and that was 1 year before my marriage but Ethan and Mr.&Mrs. Dolan took care of me like I was their family.
I picked up the phone
Sam: Hey mom how are you?,how's dad and how is Cam?

Sam: Mom?
Lisa: I don't know what to do Samantha
Sam: what happened mom!? You are scaring,are you okay?!?
Lisa: It's Sean...
Sam: Dad? What happened to him,come on mom tell me!
Lisa: he.... *sniffle* ha-s...c-cancer
*phone fell from my hand*
Lisa: Sam!? *cries* I know darling,but hear me out,how do we tell this to...E - ethan
I manage to pick up the phone somehow
And I let myself out I cried for approximately 35 seconds and then
Sam: tell me this is not true...why did this happen!! Why us!? Why dad,how will I tell Ethan,I am scared,I am *cries*....
Lisa: Hush my darling
Don't fear my darling
Sam: Am I bad luck to this family? ?
Lisa: No sweetie,no! You are the best thing that has ever happened to me.But I just have one favour to ask for...promise me that you'll do anything that I ask you to do?
Sam: ofcourse mom anything for you!
Lisa: you'll have to tell Ethan
Sam: Mom I won't be able to do it!
Lisa: I am sorry darling,but I just can't!, I haven't even told Grayson yet!
Sam:Mom ethan is here I have to go.
*phone call ends*
I went back to the kitchen,quickly wiped my tears and that's when Ethan came in
"Hey babe" He said
"Hey" I said
"Hmm something tells me that there is pizza tonight" he said
I fake smiled
"What's wrong?" he asked
"Nothing I said" while putting the pizza sauce back in the storage unit.
"Then why haven't you looked me in the eye since I came back" he said with a deep voice
I internally sigh
I looked him in the eye and fake smiled
"How was the session"
He just sighs and goes to the living room
"Ethan?" I shout from the kitchen
I went outside and saw him on the couch with his face in his hands
"What's wrong" I ask removing his hands from his face
"You lied"
"No I didn't"
"Changing the topic,hiding something from me is basically a lie"
"*sigh* ethan i am sorry but there's just something that is going on completely wrong"
"What is it?"
"I don't know how to tell you"
"Please?"
"Something is not right and it wasn't supposed to happen"
"Would you tell me already!?"
"Sean...Dad has..."
"What Sam! Dad has what!!??"
"He has c-cancer..."
"Ha! You got me good but please don't joke around about this stuff anyway where is my pizza"
I could see his hands trembling
"Ethan....I am not kidding, mom called me before you came and.."
He stood up with his hand in his hair,his eyes wide open and tears filling his eyes
"I don't why this happened" I said and started crying,very loud this time
"No one deserves this" he said and with that he left the apartment
"Ethan!!Ethan!" I yelled while running to the door and boom he wasn't there
I fell on the ground

2 hours went by and I was till on the ground outside my apartment's door with my face in my face bent towards my legs
I heard the elevator go clink and I thought ethan was here but it was....Grayson?
He was crying too,I guess Lisa told him
I stood up and hugged him as tightly as I could.Ethan just improved from his depression what will happen now! Will he take it properly and spend time with Dad as much as possible or will he give up?
I heard the telephone go on
I ran inside,what If it was ethan
