<jacks POV >

The school wasn't as great as it was cracked up to be, it was quite dirty and smells like different types of deodorant. Signe took me around the place but she seemed very strange, she was gripping my arm tightly as we walked around the corridor and when ever someone looked at me she would give them a death stare, I am sure she is just really protective but still it seemed weird. When we arrived to our class, mark was already there waiting for us, he smiled at me and signe and I waved back, however, signe's grip got tighter. We walked towards mark to avoid being in the middle of thousands of teenagers trying to get to class. " hey guys ! Jack. Are you ready for your first day at Lockwood high ?" He asks and i was about to answer with a yes but signe quickly responded for me. " yep but let's get inside " she said sternly like she had no emotions which made me and ( i think ) mark feel uncomfortable, so we entered without another word.

As we entered, I saw a small women with blonde curly hair was standing at the front greeting everyone that walked in, until she set eyes on me and her eyes widened and her grin grew. " oh you must be sèan mcloughlin, we are so happy to have you here, please stand at the front so I can pick you a seat" she said and I stood at the front. At the back of the class signe was moving a small boy with blue hair out of the seat next to her, her eyes with no remorse, the boy stood up and walked to another empty seat next to this guy who had curly hair and a Beany on. I stood waiting around until the teacher spoke again. " class we have a new student today, he was transferred from Ireland am i expecting all of you be really nice to him, now I need to find you a seat" she said and searched around the room, " he can sit next to me miss blossom !" Signe said shouting in excitement, "first of all it is ms not miss and secondly urmmm no it's fine, I want him to be near the front," mis that what signe was doing to that poor kid ? She was trying for me to sit next to her, at that moment I felt bad for the blue kid and angry to signe, what was wrong with her ? Well at least i know the teachers name "..... hmmmm ... mark where is Matthias ? " ms blossom asked mark. " he left to go to delta high," mark said looking at the empty chair next to him with discussed, from what I heard, delta high is our rival school I think, it's also the place where our rival choir is so we know that they are not good news. Ms blossom looked at the chair in discussed aswell but shortly returned her focus to me and smiled. " jack you can go sit next to mark, I am sure he is going to make sure ok " she said.

I walked towards mark and all I could see was his big grin. When I got to my seat, I saw that signe was shocked and angry, but I removed my focus on her and sat next to mark. I unpacked my stuff and i felt mark nudge my arm. I looked up and saw him smiling, I loved his smile. "I am glad that you are getting comfortable at our school already!" he said, I felt a sudden feeling of calm and happiness until I felt something hit my head, hard. I winced in pain as I removed the piece of screwed up paper with a chewed up gum stuck on it and opened it up carefully. What I read was bone chilling ...

As I examined it over and over again I felt marks hand on my shoulder and I looked up at him I saw mark crying looking at the note, when he realized I was staring at him, he quickly hugged me tight, I was shocked but I stared crying on him to, it felt like we hugging for an eternity but it broke when I heard mark whisper....
