AKI DIALLED FRANCO'S number again. She heavily sigh  when it become unattended again.

She had been calling him for almost an hour and he has no reply.

"Franco! What on earth are you doing? Pick up, nakakainis ka na," impit na wika niya.

She silently cuss and turn it off. "What is he up to?"

"Kanina ka pa diyan sa cellphone mo, ah. Ibaba nga muna yan at maupo ka na dito," ani Welcy.

"Its Franco. I've been calling him for an hour and he's not picking up."

"Baka busy lang," wika ni Aaron.

"He has no schedule," she replied.

"Malay mo, baka may biglaang schedule," ani Jane.

"Exactly. Hayaan mo na, tatawagan din yun kapag nakita ang napakarami mong missed calls," ani JD.

"Oo nga, ate. Maupo ka na dito," Jane said.

She sigh and had no choice but do as she said. After all, she's there to celebrate with them. Suppose to be with her fiancé as well. But he's out reach for an unknown reason.

"Alright, let's eat," Ate Ivine said and place the lasagna platter in their midst.

"Hmm, that looks good," Aaron said.

"Today, it's not only Mothers Day that we should celebrate. Its Aki's new drama as well, congratulations, Aki," Ate Ivine said and smile.

She smile as they congratulate her. It kinda lift her spirit up. Somehow.

"Thank you guys. That's so nice of you," she said.

"Of course! It's been a long time since you had that drama. Does it feel strange to act with Jaysen Lee again?" Aaron ask.

"Hmm, not really. I'm nervous but not that nervous unlike the first time. I'm happy that I can act with him again, he's just so thoughtful."

"Buti nga eh, naka chance ka ulit," wika ni Welcy.

Natawa siya. The next minutes, they talk randomly as enjoying the food. For some reason, she can laugh though her heart is not that happy.

"DO YOU REALLY have to go?"

Nilingon ni Aki si Ate Ivine. "I hate to, but I can't do anything about it. I'm needed at KMS, urgent meeting for the drama."

The lady sigh. "I see."

"Papunta naman sina Sandy at Yassy. You can enjoy without me," she said that made the lady roll her eyes.

"Iba pa rin kapag andito ka 'no."

Natawa siya. "Ang drama mo. Buntis ka na ulit?"

"Hindi. Loka," sagot nito at hinampas siya sa braso.

Aki laugh. She then pick her bag. "I have to go. Magpapaalam na ako sa kanila. Nasa baba na yung sunod ko. I'll call you soon."

Ate Ivine nod and hug her. "Okay. Ingat ka."

"I will. Bye, ate. Happy Mothers Day."

Ate Ivine smile. "Thanks."

When she was done saying good bye to everyone and to her so beautiful goddaughter, she went off.

"HI, GOOD EVENING," Aki greet some staff of SME.

Akala niya ay sa KMS siya pupunta. Pero ang sabi ng manager niya ay sa SME na lang daw magmimeeting.

"Ako na lang na ang kulang?" tanong niya sa manager niya.

"Hindi. Franco's on his way pa lang."
