"Go Sammy!" I hear people shouting all around me. I can feel my dress slipping, but I don't care. Everyone is chanting my name and dancing to the music. I don't know what song is playing, I hear buzzing in my ears. My head starts getting fuzzy and my whole body is numb. I feel a hand wrap around my waist and pulls me-
Chapter One
*BEEP*
*BEEP*
I fumble around in the dark looking for my alarm. I groan in frustration, until I finally find the button to turn it off. I turn on my lamp and un-plug my phone from my charger. I check for messages. One from my mom,
'Have a good day at school, love you.'
"Sure, you do mom." I groan and slip out of bed. I grab a blue t-shirt and a light pair of jeans. I sprint to the bathroom, the cold hardwood floors chilling my feet. I turn the water on and take off my pajamas. I take a quick 5 minute shower.
After I finsihed getting dressed and applying my make-up, I go downstairs. I put 3 Ego Waffles in the toaster and ran back upstairs to get my backpack.
"Dad! Hurry up were going to be late." I yell up the stairs. My dad climbs down the stairs and hands me my lunch. The waffles pop out of the toaster, I grab them and run to the car. My dad follows after me.
"Are you still going out with Devon tonight?" He asks. Devon is my 'fanboy' boyfriend.
"Uh-huh." I choke out, my mouth full of waffles. We arrive at school 4 minutes until the bell rings. I grab my bag and wave goodbye to my dad.

"Hey." Devon saunters over and plants a kiss on my cheek. Keke, my best friend, fangirls in the corner with Ericka. "I will see you tonight." He whispers in my ear.
I hurry off to my first period, hoping the day will go by quick.
As soon as I got to my first class, realized it wouldn't.
Ms. Shadick is a total dick. She doesn't even teach us math like she is supposed to. All she does is hand us out worksheets and excpects us to understand what to do. Ms. Saugstad my English teacher is even worse. All I keep thinking about though is Devon and our date tonight.
"Are you going to Sofia's party tonight?" Keke asks.
I shake my head, "Devon and I are going out." I blush.
"Ohhh lala!" Keke teases wiggling her fingers in my face, which makes me blush even harder. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do!"

"Hey babe." Devon wraps his arms around my waist and gives me a light peck on the cheek. "Are you ready for the movie?"
I nod. We were going to see Endless Love. When we got to the movies we bought our tickets and got a large popcorn and soda. We walked in to the theatre hand in hand.

"Did you like the movie?" Devon asked me after we exited the theatre.
"Yes, it was lovely." I responded. I checked the time on my watch, it was only 7:00. "Since it isn't that late my friend Safari is having a party and I thought maybe we could stop by?"
"Sure." He opens my card door for me and lets me inside. We are off to the party.
