Chapter 3: Trouble

Chapter 3:

Charlie kept staring at that peice of note for a while, still trying to process. After that, he went out of the house and hid in a secret place he found in the neighborhood.

Charlie was a bit scared but he saw that as a challenge, he always wanted an adventure and he finally got one! He called Sally and asked her if she could skip school tomorrow, it was urgent.

Sally was worried but she accepted, he told her to meet beside his house tomorrow morning. Next day, she came and Charlie told her everything, she was in a shock, she thought that this was all a game.

"Did you write this?! are you trying to scare me?!" she said worried.

"No, i didnt write this! Yesterday when i got home, i found this note on my bed and i thought i should tell you to be careful" Charlie said.

"Well, what should we do??"

"We have to stay together, try to solve this problem together, deal?"

"...Deal".

They both went to the neighborhood's library and kept searching for hours for anything that could help them, they kept reading until Sally found something online.

"Look at what this old man said here".

"Im living in this old creepy house at the end of the street, everyone said that it was haunted first when i moved in but i kept ignoring them... I truely regret moving to this house. Crazy things are happening and if i told someone they will think that im crazy... I found a way to solve this problem, its all about that key, whoever is reading this, you need to find that key and open that door, but before you do that, you need to be ready it wont be an easy adventure, but if you wanna get rid of that ghost and live in peace thats the only way to do it. don't tell ANYONE and dont let the ghost know that you know how to solve the problem, because it will kill you."

After reading this they both just kept staring at each other scared, wondering how could they look for the key inside the house and not let the ghost know about it.

It was getting dark, so Charlie walked Sally home, no one was out, they were walking the street alone, it was already raining and that's when the Fog was coming out of nowhere, they were both scared, so they held each other's hand and kept on walking ignoring the fog.

At the corner Charlie saw something sparkling, as it came closer they saw a dog, his teeth were showing and that dog was angry at them for a reason.

"Sally... RUN!!"

They both ran so fast, Charlie slipped and fell, Sally didn't notice that because he was behind.

The dog dragged him by his leg and took him to a dark hole. When Sally reached home she kept looking for Charlie and didn't find him.

She didn't know what to do!?

"Do I call the police? No they won't believe me! Do I tell his parents!? What should I do!??" She cried.
