I stood there frozen, staring at Top’s green eyes as he stared back keenly on my blue ones. There’s only one thing running on my mind right at this moment; one word. MATE. We still stood there on the stage where we were introduced staring adoringly at each other’s eyes. Everyone, too, fell into a deep silence; we’re all still too shocked about the revelation that had just occurred that we can’t get over it. We said the word, one single word, one syllable word that will forever change mine and his life forever. I saw Top tried to speak but can’t. I, myself, can’t fly down from cloud nine after our oh-so-magical kiss.

“Uh, uhmm… He-hello…” He started. I smiled at him and I could see him staring fixedly at my lips.

“Well! That’s a mind-boggling surprise!” The host said with glee once he snapped out of his daze which also caused all the packs to snap out of their reverie. After a short while everyone seemed to recover and then started the loud chattering in the room again. Our parents though, seemed surprise most of all; Mum and Belle still has their mouths hanging open prom this past shock. Top and I being mates might be the biggest talk of the year after all! No, not might… It surely is the biggest talk of the year. Everyone knows that the largest pack in the entire world has been preparing for the coming of their Luna, Brianna Evers. While I, an alpha blood from the strongest pack in the entire world, is dating Luke Connors. The party soon continued and went back to its original flow and we were told to go socialize by the host. Top held my hand to help me down the stairs and I smiled gratefully at him seeing as I had a very long gown. Once we were at the bottom found myself wishing that those very short stairs were a whole lot longer. I forgot about what I was thinking when Top encircled my small waist around his strong muscular arms as he led me to our parents table. I smiled at both our parents before sitting down on a chair that Top pulled for me. He pushed the chair back in once I was readily seated and he sat beside me.

“So, you’ve both known each other for a very long time and being mates you would’ve felt even a hint of affection before right?”

“Hmm” Top and I mumbled. “I loved her…” he paused and I heard my heart beat thumping loudly before he continued “As my dearest sister.” I could feel tears threatening to spill from my eyes as I heard this.

“But, Tiffany will be the next Luna of the Silver Eclipse right?” Belle asked and Top simply looked down and I instantly felt daggers plunge through my heart.

“I still love Brianna mum. I can’t simply leave her like that!”

“Don’t you love your mate!?” Belle asked furiously. Out of all people she was most affected because of all the happenings that had happened to her and Lawrence before they finally had their happy ever after. Top, once more didn’t answer and this time I felt my tears spill from my eyes. After a while when Top remained quiet I furiously slapped him hard across the face not even caring if there were people watching.

Top’s P.O.V.

She slapped me across the face, I didn’t care if I was soon to be Alpha and it stood as disrespect because maybe that slap woke me up from my delusion; Tiffany Alexandrine Moore is my mate, not some slut out there. Tiffany, My best friend, my first crush and first love, my sister from another mother, the one who’s always ready to wipe my tears, the one who’ll be willing to do everything for me, in short, My world. I smiled and walked over to her, inches apart. I sensed that she was scared but at the moment I didn’t care, she was finally in my arms. My Beloved.

“Get a-away f-fr-from me” She stammered which I think was cute. I stared at her beautiful plump red lips before I slammed mine with hers. I felt our worlds stop, it was like my world stopped; it might sound girly but I didn’t care, I don’t care. I felt that she was shocked but soon enough she responded making more fireworks explode around us. Before, I didn’t really believe in these because every time I kissed Brianna that didn’t happen now I realize how dull our kisses were. Even if I knew how noisy it was around us it felt like we didn’t hear it I could only hear Tiffany and I’s panting breaths. I pulled away from her smiling and rested my forehead with hers before I slowly opened my eyes and met with her beautiful icy blue ones.

“Of course she’ll be Luna” I stated mindlessly and I saw Tiffany smile which took my breath away again. How come I just realized how beautiful she is?

Tiffany’s P.O.V

I smiled when after Top and I’s oh-so-magical kiss; I was lost in our own world when I felt someone pull me away from Top and I heard a loud sound that echoed throughout the room and my right cheek stinging. Before I could see my attacker I heard Top growl and put me in his back to protect me, the thing is I didn’t want to be protected. I felt my powers surge through my brain to my hands bringing five white laces out of my five fingertips. I heard everyone gasp with what they are seeing, I smiled an angelic smile before I looked at the one who attacked me and saw Brianna

“You bitch! You, you Boyfriend stealer! You will never, ever be Luna on my watch” She spat

“Oh?” I asked

“Yes” She answered proud

“Is that so Brianna?” I smirked before I pointed my fingertips at her and the white laces circling around her body making her come towards me on air and as soon as she was near me I whispered,

“I will be Luna, sweetie. He likes me now, no, might even love me. You saw how he tried to defend me from you? He was ready to rip your dirty body into shreds. Yes, you were his past but he met me now, his real mate.” I paused pulling away kissing her cheek with my cheek before whispering in her other ear “I also know how you’ve been cheating on him, my dear. I know you’re not a virgin, I know you kiss countless guys in his back, I know you have had sex every now and then, I know you have a physical relationship with his best friend Nathan. Now you wouldn’t want Top knowing about that right?” I pulled away kissing her other cheek again before seeing the look of fear on her make-up caked face. I looked in her eyes and saw that she was trembling. I brought her down before blacking out…
