Beep! Beep! Beep!
My alarm clock blaired i peeked open my eyes just enough to see the blinking red snooze button my hand slammed down on it so i could get 5 more minutes of peace so no thoughts could whirl through my head i close my eyes
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! My eyes srpung open anxiety pulsed through my body as i saw 7:00AM Monday 11/20/2000 on the clock im going to be late.
"Fuck" I sighed
I flung my covers over my body and stumbled to the bathroom i showered quick, and tied my long brown hair up in a high bun, i sorted through my baskets of clothes but then just decided to put a pair of old ripped jeans on a black tee-shirt and the hoodie my father passed down to me like every day before, i grabbed my grey backpack and snuck past my moms door making sure not to wake her, the quietly left the house i then walked down the same path i had a thousand times before trying to be quick but not run, i approached the large building took a deep breath then walked through the large brown double doors, i passed through the hundreds of giggling students and before the bell rang i made it to Mrs Hans first period class. I opened the door student were out of their arrangements, throwing paper around the room, discussing at an ear-splitting rate. I pushed through the paper and kids sitting on top of their desks to find my chair and as i sat down  an elegant lady, amber hair, emerald eyes, and astonishingly tall figure strutted into the class, she brightly smiled to the class the kids looked at her in disbelief
"Hey, cuttie!!" Shouted Ashton from the front row "you from around here, baby, or just coming to see me? " His friends snickered, and one punched him in the arm to say nice one
The lady just smirked at him and walked to Mrs Hans desk she dropped her belongings then walked towards Ashton and without saying a word she removed his feet from the desk and ball cap off his head, she then walked through the class taking phones, gum, hats, and makeup. As the class became quiet, they took their seats breaking the silence she spoke
“your teacher, Mrs. Han will be out of the city for the next few weeks for her new baby. Mrs. Han gave me all your assignments for the time being.” The young woman spun around and picked up a Perl piece of chalk, suddenly started writing. Screeches held across the blackboard as she composed MRS. LIN in all caps, she turned back to the class and announced, “My name is Mrs. Lin, you will be with me for the next few weeks, and surely we can have a wonderful time” she declared confidently. Mrs. Lin folded her hands together and smiled.
"Oh, im sure we can," Ashton announced. The class went by fast. Mrs. Lin showed she is extremely intelligent for how young she is. She told us how she’s only 22 and barely out of college she has a 1-year-old girl named Katie and a dog named Rosco. She was pleasant to us and not coarse like other subs she showed us she cared for us in a way no one else has.

I didn’t leave her class right away. Instead, I waited till the hallway nearly cleared, then headed out, As I walked out of the class into the dim hall, Emma came up behind me, wrapping her arms violently around my waist frightening me I stopped in my tracks and froze, not moving a single muscle.

“Hey, Cat!” Emma yelled in my ear

“Oh Hi, Emma...” I uttered anxiously as my ear rang from her screeching voice.

“Sorry if I scared you” she giggled, pulling me tighter to her.

“You’re okay” I took a deep breath and removed her arms from me, then started walking down the narrow hall, and Emma and I murmured as we headed towards the lunchroom. People stared at us as if we were aliens, but we couldn’t tell why.

We stepped into the lunchroom noise filled the entire cafeteria of people talking and yelling at one another Emma waved at a few of her friend that wanted nothing to do with me so they waved when I looked away Emma and I joined the dinner line for something to eat after We plopped down at a small table across the lunchroom the same one every day.
