Have you ever experienced looking outside your window at night before you sleep just to check if you can see someone or perhaps something outside, then you see a dark shadow of a human or a beast scaring you to death but then you realize it was only a silhouette of a tree? Well I have experienced that before but no It wasn't a tree, he was really there. I am about to tell you the story of how I met him, the guy outside the window.

First Night
I haven't been able to sleep properly for the past two days. My insomnia prevents me from doing so. I have taken considerable amounts of medicine prescribed by my doctor to help me sleep but it doesn't help that much. I was checking messages and e-mails on my phone for my work when suddenly I heard something outside my window.Out of curiosity, I got up from my bed and walked towards the only window in my room. I looked outside and saw a young man, about 23, almost the same age as me, standing just outside my lawn. He was there just standing despite the cold wind outside. His dark black eyes stared at my own which sent shivers down my spine. I was about to call him out when he suddenly walked away.
Second Night
I just finished all my work for this day so tired and worn out, I decided to end the night. I arrived at my house at around midnight and directly went upstairs to my room. I changed my clothes and laid on my bed. My mind wondered to the guy from last night, I shrugged it off as me having lack of sleep. I was about to enter dreamland when I heard the same sound again from outside my window. Despite my inner self telling me that it was just nothing, my curiosity still prevailed.I made my way to the window. I looked outside and saw the same young man. He was standing in the exact same spot I saw him last night. He stared at me for a few seconds before he took out a notebook and a pen from his pocket. He started writing something. I stared at him in wonder to what he could possibly writing. A few seconds passed, he showed me what he had written.
"My name is Jaeyoon, what's yours?" It read.
I was shock for a moment because of how simple the words he had written were. A smile made its way to my mouth because of how ridiculous he looked like. I looked around my room to find a notebook and a pen and wrote back to him.
"I'm Inseong, nice to meet you Jaeyoon. I thought you were some kind of criminal at first, sorry about that."
He smiled at my response. He quickly wrote his reply and showed it to me.
"I guess I look like one. :) " It read with a smiley face at the end of the sentence.
I laughed at his response. He seems kind of a nice guy so I thought of inviting him over my house. I wrote it in my notebook and showed it to him.
"It's pretty cold out there, you wanna come inside?"
He shook his head and started writing on his notebook. He showed it to me.
"No thanks, I'm fine right here, I appreciate your invitation though."
I felt a little disappointed because of his response. Before I could reply, he wrote something again and showed it to me.
"I'm going to go now, It was nice talking to you." It read.
He waved at me, mouthing a goodbye. I waved back as he walked away.
For the next four nights we continued to converse like that. He was fun to talk with. It was if we became the best of friends in those four nights. We had a lot of things alike like our favorite color or our experiences. I also continued to invite him over my house but he would always decline.
