I Love You

Tommy's POV:
"Tommy?" Nick whispered to me. "I know this is a bad place to do this, but, will you go out with me."
I didn't hesitate, this was my moment. "Of course!"
"Should we tell the rest?" Nick was excited. "This is a big moment."
"When JonJon gets back." I wasn't about to hide this. "Everyone deserves to know."
"Yeah, you're right." Nick agreed.
"Oh, hi, Tom! I back everyone!" JonJon entered with a snooty voice. "I hope we weren't talking about me."
"We were." Ashlie smirked.
"Everyone," I started, standing up. "It's official."
I stopped so Nick could finish it. "We're going out!"
My heart stopped, nobody answered. Do they not except me? No. They're my friends. They love my for me. Right?
"That's great, Tom." Cory forced out a congrats.
Great, nobody excepts us now.
I'm just another freak in the world.
Nick's POV:
Tommy seemed sad now, something was wrong, Cory's "congrats" seemed a little off. "Come on, Tommy, I have an idea." I grabbed Tommy's hand and lead him to my office. "What're you doin'?" Tommy's voice was faster than before.
Anxiety
"Don't worry. We're safe now. In my office, it's just the two of us, okay? No one's judging in here. Let it out." My voice was soft, comforting.
Tommy hugged me, tight. We started shaking, Tommy was crying.
Loneliness
"I just...don't know what to do."
The hug got tighter
"No matter how much I smile...things just don't get better."
Tighter
"It surrounds me, and it doesn't leave. I can't escape. I just can't. It's too strong..."
The hug wasn't a hug anymore, it was more like a death grip now, I couldn't escape, I couldn't breathe.
Tommy released, letting me breathe again. "Sorry..I got a bit too tight."
"It's fine." I held my chest, catching my breath that Tommy threw away. "I like it when you get deep, you're cute when you're like that."
Tommy's face went blank. "Nick, no."
"Nick, yes." My smile lit up Tommy's face.
Tommy went in for a hug again, I accepted. "I love you, Nick..."
Tears soaked my shoulder, while tears poured down my face. "I love you, too..."
