Aurora POV
"Guys I'm tired. We've been shopping all day!" Riley, the green eyed beauty with long brunette hair whined.
"Oh my god Ri, you're the one who wanted to go shopping in the first place," Vanessa laughed at her, flipping her blonde hair over her shoulders.
"I know but my feet are killing" she replied, tapping her Dolce and Gabbana heels on the floor.
"Yeah, same here." I agreed. "We'll leave and get a latte after we go into Daphne Designs."
We entered the luxurious fashion store Daphne Designs, browsing her new collection.
"Wow I love this purse." Vanessa said, examining the beautiful nude clutch.
"Wrap it up for Vanessa, Sydney." Daphne herself walked out of her studio behind the boutique, talking to one of her staff members.
"Oh no, Mrs. Crawford I insist on purchasing it." Vanessa replied.
"Nonsense Ms. Summers, anything for the best friend of my beautiful daughter. Hello Aurora, how are you." My mom, Daphne, greeted me, wrapping her arms around me. I hugged her back.
"Hello mom, just wanted to check up on you before I left. You've been at the studio all day?" I questioned.
"Yes darling, you know I have New York Fashion Week coming up. I can't rest a moment until my whole collection is perfect."
"And we all know it will be mom. Your clothes are always the most spectacular on all the runways." I laughed, waving my hands in the air. "I'll see you at home mom. Fancy a latte before I leave?""No that's alright. Ms. Campbell, I see you eyeing the floral print handbag. Would you like it?" My mom directed her attention to Riley, who placed the bag down.
"If that isn't too much of a problem Mrs. Crawford, it's absolutely to die for!" She replied, still awing the bag.
After we left the department store, we headed towards our favourite café, Blues Café. Blues is a popular place where most of the Ashton Grammar students like to hangout since it's the closest café to our campus. Our school, Ashton Grammar is known for being one of the top schools in the country.
As we entered the café, our presence caused the conservations around to die down a little. We were used to it by now. We're known to everyone as the 'Elite Gals.' We didn't call ourselves that, it was sort of just given to us. Since the girls and I are always in the media for being at the most exclusive events and partying with celebrities, people tend to get a little intimidated by us. Or maybe because we come from the most powerful families. Who knows.
We sat in our usual spot by the window. Everyone knows the couches are only reserved for the Elite Gals, and Tyler, the café owner likes to remind everyone of that. Once we placed our bags on the floor, Tyler came to greet us.
"How's my favourite girls?" He asked.
"Tired after all the walking we did today." Riley replied.
"So, the usual?" He asked. We all nodded and he went off. Just as I was about to mention the new Chanel powder I bought today, none other than the school's most popular boys walked into the store. I scoffed when I saw Julian confidently walk into the place, and how all the girls and boys quickly turned their attention to them. Julian ran his hand through his dirty blonde hair, his beautiful blue eyes meeting mine. Julian and his close friends Phoenix, Damien and Levi made their way to were we are sitting and then proceeding to make themselves comfortable.
"Well if isn't the Elite gals." Julian teased.
"Don't call us that." I replied, rolling my eyes.
Phoenix sat next to me, throwing his arms around me. "Hello Aurora." His blue eyes looking into mine.
"What are you guys doing here?" Vanessa said.
"Is it a crime wanting to see our girls?" Levi responded.
"Our girls? You wish Levi." Vanessa rolled her eyes which caused Levi to smirk.
"We missed you girls at Aubrey's party last night." Damien said. "It's not a proper party without the Elite gals there."
"Please Damien, a high school party? What are we, teenagers?" Riley remarked.
"But we are teenagers?" Damien responded.
"In case you haven't realised, we aren't your typical teenagers." I replied. Well to be honest, the reason why we didn't go to Aubrey's party is because, well, she's a bitch. We wouldn't be caught dead at a party of hers. She doesn't need that free promotion. "Well, it was nice seeing you boys. Hope you had a great summer. I'll see you back at school next week." I winked at Julian and then turned to look at Phoenix. The three of us know there's a bit of unfinished history between us. We sat up and walked off before they had the chance to say goodbye, fully aware they were staring intently at as we walk away. "We'll take our coffees to go Tyler. It was so good seeing you today."
"Likewise Ms. Crawford." He handed us our coffees and put our orders on our personal tab we have with the store, as per usual.
