If this was like every other story the vampire would be the guy and the human would be the girl. But in this case, it's not.

My name is Katherine, and I'm a vampire.

First day in high school, great. No friends or anything. But with my personality I will get friends within two seconds. My perfect hair and perfect body. Yes I have good confidence. I'm not going to lie, I mean come on, I'm Katherine Pierce!

''Hi! My name is Caroline Forbes and I'm your next school president!''

''Oh god, A, I have no idea what your talking about cause you are talking so fast, and B, I'm Katherine Pierce, YOUR next school president.''

''What? You can't do that.. Just swoosh in and try to take my spot?''

''Watch me.'' I said and walked away.

I kind of felt bad, cause we could of been friends, but she seemed too up speed for me!

I stopped. My mouth just fell to the ground. My heart just stopped. The perfect blonde hair, the blue eyes. Who is he?

I walked towards him with proudness and said:

''Hi I'm Katherine, and I'm new.. Do you know where the math class is?''

''Yeah, I'm in it so I can show you were it is.'' he said.

''Thank you, that would be great!'' I said.

Since I've been a vampire for 500 years I know how to contain my cravings for blood.

I looked at him the whole class. Hes perfect! It is incredible how someone can be that handsome. And his blue eyes... Dreamy!

After class I looked after him and I cought him kissing Caroline. He has a girlfriend.. Great!

But I wouldn't stop checking him out. Hes irresistable!

''Hi I'm..''

''Shit!'' I said like a scaredy cat.

''You guys really need to stop doing that!'' I said.

''Oh, sorry for scaring you.. I'm Vicki Donovan.''

I liked her. She was sassy and she had confidence. She kind of looked like she was a druggy but I liked her..

''Hi I'm Katherine Pierce. Do you know that guy? I think I like him and I would really want to get to know him!''

''Uhm. Thats my brother..?''

''So what? hes hot!'' I said

''Okay he works at the mystic grill. maybe you could just go there someday and say hello to him!''

''Okay thank you...friend'' I said and walked away.

When I was on my way home I saw Vickis brother and some other boys. The boys started to kick him and hit him to the ground.

No, I can't save him. My vampire side would be exposed and I would scare him away. But I could always compell him.. But I don't want to lie to him. Then they pulled a knife out. And that was the moment, I swooshed to them and hit the guy with the knife to the ground and I bit him. And then I said and looked into all of their eyes and said:

''You will not remember this, the only thing you will remember is that you hit him but he hit you back and he won the fight.'' I compelled them.

''...Katherine? What are you?'' He said and looked at me with his blue eyes.
